I heard that John Denver got a 5 minute standing ovation the first time he performed that song live. That's the easy one. Now answer the hard one. What in "take me home, country roads" is evil?

The title 'JimmyTheLock' sounds like a burglar/hustler name from a Columbo movie, and your picture kinda fits it. No offense, but I don't get a Christian vibe from them. For me it doesn't jive w/your sanctimonious come-on. Just sayin, since we're trying to be proper here.
Our Country AnthemI heard that John Denver got a 5 minute standing ovation the first time he performed that song live.![]()
Great, now do I have to repent for watching that clip?Columbo was cool.
"One more thing Mr. Lock. Maybe you can help me out."
I missed this post jimmy. So I will address it and take into consideration what you say, because you seemed concerned about us secular music folk.Sure there are other big fish to fry, but secular music prepares people's minds and emotions to go dark.,.. just how the devil likes it!
Hmmm... maybe World Wide Message was a bad choice in my music recommendations to you.@JimmyTheLockThere is a type of music, actually that is addictive to me, and that is the crappy trance music that is repetitive and without lyrics and sends me into a spaced out prayer less and mindless mode that has become fashionable and played at raves. It boots God right out of the picture because it hijacks my Jesus Gene.
Now, if I ever find I am desiring and craving any secular music over Prayer, God and His Word, I hope and pray I will become concerned because I am currently practising to become a music producer.
I did not. Oh... and I'm not a writer, eitherThere were a lot of parallels that I connected with in the first two movies. One was the choreography. The martial arts scenes were the same as I taught in my system.
Another thing that I liked was that his character was clearly a virtuous hero. The villains were believable and based on reality, which helped provide Denzel plenty of opportunities to work off of. The big guy and the prostitute in #1 were written into the script with amazing support. You as a writer can probably appreciate that script.
I was thinking about starting a thread on the movie, but doubt if enough interest or people who saw it. I don't think #3 was hardly advertised, but not sure since I have ad block and don't watch TV....almost Amish.
Lol
Did you see Equalizer 3?
I don't know where I got that idea that you were.I did not. Oh... and I'm not a writer, either![]()
The Amish would tell you that you should not be on the internet and "the Devil rides in on buttons!"Great, now do I have to repent for watching that clip?![]()
That was an inside joke. Lol
The title says something about Monarch (Mothra?). Then Kurt Russell stars in it. He was Jack Burton in BIG Trouble in Little China 1990s. That's OK, Gojira is probably the only one who got it. BTW, I wonder if he had anything to do with this new movie you brought up?
@Gojira ?
Ok... I missed that episode.I don't have Apple TV either, so I will not be seeing this. I'd love to, but...
"Monarch" is the name of the organization that is researching all of these beasts, or something. I forget. It's not Mothra.
The only actor I care about is...Ok... I missed that episode.
Thanks.
What do you think about a big name American actor in a Godzilla movie?
you seemed concerned about us secular music folk.
Did you see the last one on the coast of Southern Italy? Robert could have used some help with the mafia at one point. The only actor I care about is...
GODZILLLAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!
Though I do like famous faces in these movies.
Hey... Equalizer and Godzilla combine forces to fight evil! Denzel and the big G. Together at last.
The writer's strike having part in the effect on his employment status perhaps. Clearly, he is a proofreader.I don't know where I got that idea that you were.
It was supposed to be released to the theaters 10-23.I did not see the last movie. I saw I & II. Did you? You commented on this and I forgot.
Did you see the last one on the coast of Southern Italy? Robert could have used some help with the mafia at one point.
My kids were singing the Alphabet Song today. Are you really claiming that any music that is not specifically Christian - aka secular music - is ALL created as an offering to the devil?
Isn't southern Italy where all the Italian rednecks life???
You down where it looks like a boot?
