You are absolutely right.
It wasn't my idea to take her to the hospital. . Mom was independent before this.
She had a lucid dream and fell off her couch and her forehead got cut on the coffee table. Her friend took her to the ER instead of calling me. I would have cleaned her cut, first aid and used butterfly suture bandages. I've dressed many injuries and had nearly 100% success.
I would have evaluated her and kept a close eye on her to make sure she was ok. She probably would have been fine.
Instead,
The doctor threatened her and told her she'd die if she were not admitted immediately.
My brother found out and would not call me until a couple weeks went by and she declined from being confined to the hospital bed. It's a long sad story.
Not until they damaged her health to the beginning of this prayer would he contact me .
Now the Lord has answered the prayers of my brothers and sisters here. She's in a special respiratory hospital not affiliated with the other.

Our Father is so very kind. He directly answered and saved her life time and again from the evil hospice doc at the other place and more than one close call like intubation.
She has improved a little each time, but had a recent setback.
I'm talking to a weekend doctor tomorrow to get her off non life sustaining meds. The nurse would not print them out today. I'm spending the night in the chair next to her bed tonight because I didn't feel comfortable with her unattended in her non-lucid state .
She had a respiratory challenge tonight and needed immediate attention from the respiratory therapist.
She started gasping and O2 dropped quickly.
I ran to the nurses station and requested respiratory stat. A few minutes later the O2 dropped to the 50s% blood saturation.
As the therapist was getting started, it looked like Mom stopped breathing. Her eyes were wide open and not blinking. No breathing. The O2 was set at 100% and the CPR bulb was then used. She started breathing and suction was then applied over and over again to remove thick mucus. She's unable to cough since the tracheostomy, so she requires round the clock care.
