Silly bird. Can you substantiate your claim or not?Are you Rufus?
Silly bird. Can you substantiate your claim or not?Are you Rufus?
Yup. God acted, they reacted. Positively.Jesus said what He said, God is seeking those who will bow in obedience to Him in Spirit and Truth and such Jews and Samaritans were in and around Israel at the time. All it took was a little work as a Prophet for some to recognize and believe in Him. Some men willed to do God's will.
Yes, Scripture is rough on your theology. Many of us understand this.
Silly bird. Can you substantiate your claim or not?
Yup. God acted, they reacted. Positively.
Same goes for Judas. God acted, he reacted. Negatively.
[Jhn 13:26-27 KJV] 26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped [it]. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave [it] to Judas Iscariot, [the son] of Simon.
27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
So I'm not allowed to ask questions in an open forum to a post not directed towards me.Did you note who I originally posted to before you said I made a derogatory statement about you?
The corpse analogy is profoundly problematic.
So I'm not allowed to ask questions in an open forum to a post not directed towards me.
If you prefer that I not ask you questions or address your posts, just let me know. I'll stop.
Let's switch positions. You do the work & I'll agree or disagree.
I'm open to it not being a derogatory comment if you can demonstrate how the way you parsed your comments was designed for my edification. So, I didn't make a derogatory statement about you?
And who said you're not allowed to ask questions?
Again, let's switch places and have you do some work in Scripture this time and I'll agree or disagree.
The corpse analogy is profoundly problematic.
Just people. Nothing special about them. Same as you or me.So the next obvious question is...who are these people?
You and I are saved, yes? While anyone is welcome to pursue God, how many unsaved people do you know who are doing so?Just people. Nothing special about them. Same as you or me.
The corpse analogy is profoundly problematic.
I would not think someone who goes around saying God raped Mary is saved. Or that if God acts unilaterally He isYou and I are saved, yes? While anyone is welcome to pursue God, how many unsaved people do you know who are doing so?
You just wipe Scripture right out of the good book.I would say not even analogous.
You and I are saved, yes? While anyone is welcome to pursue God, how many unsaved people do you know who are doing so?
