Still haven't seen the aspect of human life that has gotten worse since the cross. Can you share one?

Yeah there some some stuff that is getting much worse - here's a few for consideration:

Matthew 24:4,5
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

1 Timothy 4:1,2
Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron

2 Timothy 4:3,4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine (teaching); but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2 Peter 2:1-3
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying (contradicting, Not agreeing with) the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness (idolatry) shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

Jude 1:4
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness (no self control, living after the flesh), and denying (contradicting, opposing Jesus’ teachings) the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (referring to false teachers and false brethren - see Matthew 13:24-30)

Jude 1:17-21
Remember the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
These are those who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Yeah, most of that was referring to the destruction of Israel in the 1st century.

That happens in the New Testament to Christians who turn away from God and choose to do sinful stuff.

Romans 8:12,13 - Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Galatians 6:7,8 - Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Preachers now days claim we can sin and not be separated from the Lord (spiritual death)

Thank the Lord that He has provided a way for those who forsake their sin and confess it to be cleansed and be in right standing with the Lord once again.

It's pretty messed up that so many have been falsely taught that we can live in sin and still be in right standing with the Lord which is mocking God according to Galatians 6:7,8

Yep!

The moment we sin our spiritual fellowship with God dies.
Our fellowship dies, but we remain saved because of the Cross.

God's solution for tripping the circuit breaker?

To reset it to "on"? Use 1 John 1:9.
1 John 1:9 resets the spiritual flow and restores fellowship with the Spirit.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins ​

and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9​

It's funny that Romans 11:21,22 says if we do not continue in His goodness we shall be cut off.

And your definition is being cut off still means we go to Heaven?

This sort of teaching is why so many claiming to be Christians are living in sin, because they are being told they will still go to Heaven even if they live in sin which of course is false doctrine (doctrines of devils)

2 Peter 2:20
For if after they have escaped the pollution of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

If we deny Him, He also will deny us

Romans 6:14-16
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

God's Word does not agree with the false doctrines of the false teachers claiming our broken fellowship does not mean we still won't go to Heaven.

If that were actually true, then we could all just go back to living in sin and the worse that would happen is when we get to Heaven we would just get a shack on the back side of glory instead of a mansion

It's all true. For example, India was always having problems feeding their population. The storms would destroy their wheat crops. Scientists used genetic modification to produce a sturdier wheat that wasn't destroyed in the storms. Stories like these can be found throughout the world.

Men can now have the indwelling Holy Spirit that causes them to see and discern sound doctrine to give them life.
That has gotten better since Pentecost for some who walk in grace.
Before then? Men could only walk according to the Law.

It has gotten better for those who find it.

What was created in the image of God was the human soul.
