Incorrect again. I believe in THE rapture and THE millennium. I simply believe they are done or in progress.

Perhaps you will outline for us the book of Revelation, and then the book of Deuteronomy, and show us the parallelism.

If the Rapture came, we would not be here.

If the Millennium was in progress, Israel would be larger, and with no enemies about.

You have your own weird concepts...

And, your welcome to them.

The Hebrew in Genesis states..... Let us make man in our image. Plurality! Genesis 1:26.
What's interesting is the image we're most like is that of the WORD manifested into flesh because we are flesh. The Father and Spirit are only Spirit bodies. Our current body doesn't resemble anyone but the flesh body of the manifested WORD. Who happens to be the Creator Himself.

We're you alive in the 1st century?

And a modicum of research and you would have been able to see a pattern of gradualism in the Bible. Adam didn't fall over dead after he sinned. In fact, he lived to be 900. The effects of sin came definitively when he sinned, but they also came progressively until the cross. Likewise, the effects of the cross came definitively shortly thereafter, and have been coming progressively since. At some future date, they will come consumatively. Jesus is destroying the works of Satan and making all things new.

Still waiting for that breakdown of the books of Revelation and Deuteronomy, and the parallelism between them.

Grace and peace.

And I am waiting for you (or someone) to break down Rev. 5 in reply to post #124 on the "How do angels jibe...?" thread.

The millennial reign? Well there would be a temple in Jerusalem and Christ would be seated there. If thats the millennial your talking about. Maybe another thousand years is being discussed?

There is an excellent resource for you:
Days of Vengeance by David Chilton. The book is expensive, but the PDF download is free. It covers all things Revelation.

Preterist doctrine doesnt interest me. But does answer some questions.

I believe it is more like this...

The Father?
Only the essence of Deity.

The Son?
Union of Deity and soul.
Manifested - God as a man.

The Holy Spirit?
Union of Deity and spirit, as in the essence of angels!
Manifested - God as an angel.

There is a reason for all this.

It would help get things moving if you took a minute to copy and paste what verses you speak of.
When you post something as generalized as that? Most just keep reading on to something else.

Adam died instantly when he ate.
He died spiritually.
He instantly became fallen.

He did die.

Adam could no longer walk with God freely as he had known before.
The Adam that used to walk freely with God no longer existed.
Now it was a matter of having to learn how to avoid evil.

Some angels could ask the Lord.
Where is the Adam we used to know?
The answer?
That Adam died when he ate the fruit he was told not to.

......

Death came definitively with the onset of sin and has grown progressively until the cross. Now the effects of sin are lessening since the cross, and will continue to do so until death is no more.

Very good, Cameron.
You may sit down.

Now let Mary now give her impression of what the blot means...
She, too, wants to get a good grade for creative story telling class.

The ending of death is not progressive.
People in the past lived to be 800 years old.

The ending of death will be instantaneous.

The Rapture.

THE rapture.
Not your cheap substitute.

That happens in the New Testament to Christians who turn away from God and choose to do sinful stuff.

Romans 8:12,13 - Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Galatians 6:7,8 - Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Preachers now days claim we can sin and not be separated from the Lord (spiritual death)

Thank the Lord that He has provided a way for those who forsake their sin and confess it to be cleansed and be in right standing with the Lord once again.

It's pretty messed up that so many have been falsely taught that we can live in sin and still be in right standing with the Lord which is mocking God according to Galatians 6:7,8

And in the time of Christ they lived to 40. Today lifespans are in the 70's. They will continue to go up until the end of time.

Things are slowly being restored as Jesus destroys the works of Satan.

You have no proof of that.

Sure some may have died early but that does not prove all did.
Sure. It's just an average age, but the point remains: people as a whole are living longer. Not only that, the quality of life has improved.
