I think you misunderstood... I think we're at 100% agreement.
If you were to take a moment and define your particular view of "the world's philosophy", then as soon as you were to define it, we would agree.

I never met any looking for Salvation, but have witnessed to some. I tell them the same thing that I said to the guy in post #21 and to anyone.

I see that there's a much more important challenge that has yet to be answered.
I was asked once by someone who cared, "If you were to die today, are you 100% sure that you would go to heaven. I wasn't sure either.
That's because we are all sinners. The Bible tells us in Romans 6:23
" For the wages of sin is death..."
We deserve death and hell.
You gave your life to the Lord at 14.
Unfortunately, someone mistakenly told you that is how someone is saved. I have heard that preached too many times as well in churches I've attended.
There is a clear way to be forgiven now and forever..
I will post the following link(s) which will have the exact details from God's Word about this issue.
The good news is that the rest of that verse says,
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

the actual topic here is just ridiculous.
It's ridiculous that we need to have these kinds of conversations at all.
That being said, there is value in knowing how to parse through issues about which people are confused.
That's still valuable.
So although these conversations may be necessary... it just indicates we're in a ridiculous state.

People going to the state of Ridiculous are simply moving from the state of Confusion. I haven't found them on the map yet but was told they are near the states of California and New York.
I am judging from your own testimony that you probably go to a liberal church.
You judge me like a couple others on the forum as being unloving as IF that is a GREATER SIN than pushing sodomy on the Target of the Target corporation. They are doing everything they can to get stupid and wicked mothers to indoctrinate their toddlers into sex with their own gender. The children don't even have a temptation there, yet the homos in the company are pushing their trashy agenda to normalize such wickedness. The trendy liberal "open minded" mom's go along. The only thing they are open to is the lusts of their own perversion and the devil plan.
I will admit the Target stores issue to be very low on any priority for God to deal with. It's His own people that He wants to walk with and get others saved. There's NO Scriptures that say that Christians should embrace the Sodomite agenda. There's LOTS written to the contrary.

Why do people keep saying the public acceptance of homosexuality is a recent thing? Greek, Roman, Sodomite, there have been many cultures in history where it became acceptable.
This is nothing new. It's just a repeating cycle.
What worries me is what always happened next. It seems homosexuality became commonly accepted right before their respective societies crumbled.
As I depend on the current society for my job, this concerns me... :-/
