~Inspiration~ Thought for the Day
'This is the time for my spirit to touch the spirit of God. I know that the feeling of the spirit touch is more
important than all the sensations of material things. I must seek a silence of spirit touching with God.
Just a moment's contact and all the fever of life leaves me. Then I am whole, calm, and able to rise and minister
to others. God's touch is a potent healer. I must feel that touch and sense God's presence.

~Prayer for the Day~
I pray that the fever of resentment, worry, and fear may melt into nothingness. I pray that health, joy, peace,
and serenity may take its place.

'Sharing with a spiritual heart helps to grow in faith and trust that when actively applying words of wisdom
in this life, God's Spirit is ever-present. I know the guidance is there, it is my responsibility to act upon and
earnestly strive to practice the principles of life, love is surely the greatest resource and has the potential to change lives.

'Caution and accountability should be in order when souls come in quest for advice since becoming and/or
striving for a new life as a "Christian."
Embrace a fresh start in Jesus Christ with the words of 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation."

'This requires a change in one's life, and it works no other way even though most all say to read the Bible and endless
quotes put forth. Parts of the Bible are indispensable for teaching and learning. Basic principles need to be practiced and
a change of heart will most surely be the greatest challenge! I believe this to be an attribute that is greatly ignored, especially
by those who know not of the truth of it all.'

'Constant effort is necessary to grow spiritually and develop my spiritual life. I must keep the spiritual rules
persistently, perseveringly, lovingly, patiently, and hopefully. By keeping them, every mountain of difficulty shall
be laid low, the rough places of poverty of spirit shall be made smooth, and all who know me shall know that God
is the Lord of all my ways. To get close to the spirit of God is to find life, healing, and strength.'

'I pray that God's spirit may be everything to my soul. I pray that God's spirit may grow within me.'

'A new month of the daily readings from Twenty-Four Hours a Day. These have been my daily reading for
many years. I find daily strength, courage, and hope. My spiritual grounding has surely grown from acting upon
the spiritual concept and wisdom that I and many others have found to be instrumental in our spiritual growth and maturity.'

'Real experiences from those who have come to believe a "higher power" that which is God, has surely manifested
a profound faith and trust in our lives. I have learned the profound significance of practicing these principles put
forth are essential in the hope to acquire any meaningful understanding and/or relationship with the Holy Spirit.'

'Living here in the now is a time for spiritual preparation, and resorting to historical events surely clouds the necessity
needed to focus on spiritual preparation, "allowing God's Spirit to work in your life." here in the now!

'When this truth is blatantly and stubbornly ignored, likely the Holy Spirit shall come upon only those with
an open heart, mind, and soul to receive the needed guidance, and shall surely be away from the haughty and the prideful.'

~Inspiration~ Thought for the Day ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day~
I will try to grow in this new life. I will think of spiritual things often and unconsciously I will grow.
The nearer I get to the new life, the more I will see my unfitness. My sense of failure is a sign that I am growing
in the new life. It is only struggle that hurts. In sloth - physical, mental, or spiritual - there is no sense of failure
or discomfort. With struggle and effort, I am conscious not of strength but of weakness until I really live the new life.
But in the struggle, I can always rely on the power of God to help me.

I pray that I may see signs of my growth in the new life. I pray that I may always keep trying to grow.

'I believe striving to live and relying on God is not a matter of mental willpower; it’s a lifestyle to practice daily.
It’s a complete shift in daily focus, and it involves mind, body, and soul. I have learned my spiritual focus
is away from attempting to interpret things not meant to understand, and out of my jurisdiction includes
mysteries within the inspired scripture "readings" about people, places, and things of a time that the wisest minds have not
the ability to fully comprehend. Delving into spiritual unknowns with worldliness shall be a separation from
achieving the hope of guidance of the Holy Spirit, and experiencing the new life, here in the now. "Amen"

'It is surely being witnessed the discord from the boastfulness of those who 'think' they somehow comprehend
all things put forth within the "inspired readings" which surely shall bring lost souls to untold doubts and confusion.
Contempt of the truth is said to be a sinful act of rebellion.

The late Red Skelton spoke the following words on his television program, January 14, 1969, as he related the story of his teacher, Mr. Laswell, who felt his students had come to think of the Pledge of Allegiance as merely something to recite in class each day.
Now, more than ever, listen to the meaning of his words.
"I've been listening to you boys and girls recite the Pledge of Allegiance all semester and it seems as though it is becoming monotonous to you. If I may, may I recite it and try to explain to you the meaning of each word?"
I;
"Me, an individual, a committee of one."
Pledge;
"Dedicate all of my worldly goods to give without self-pity."
Allegiance;
"My love and my devotion."
To the flag;
"Our standard, Old Glory, a symbol of freedom. Wherever she waves, there's respect because your loyalty has given her a dignity that shouts freedom is everybody's job!"
of the United;
"That means that we have all come together."
States;
"Individual communities that have united into forty-eight great states. Forty-eight individual communities with pride and dignity and purpose; all divided with imaginary boundaries, yet united to a common purpose, and that's love for country."
And to the Republic;
"Republic;
A state in which sovereign power is invested in representatives chosen by the people to govern. And government is the people and it's from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people"
For which it stands, One Nation under God;
"One Nation, meaning 'so blessed by God'"
Indivisible;
"Incapable of being divided."
With liberty;
"Which is freedom -- the right of power to live one's own life without threats, fear or some sort of retaliation."
And Justice;
"The principle or quality of dealing fairly with others."
For all;
"For All. Which means, boys and girls, it's as much your country as it is mine."

And now, boys and girls, let me hear you recite the Pledge of Allegiance:
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic, for which it stands; one Nation under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All.

~Inspiration~ Thought for the Day ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day~
I must work for God, with God, and through God's help. By helping to bring about a true fellowship of human beings,
I am working for God. I am also working with God because this is the way God works, and He is with me when I am
doing such work. I cannot do good work, however, without God's help. In the final analysis, it is through the grace
of God that any real change in human personality takes place. I have to rely on God's power, and anything I accomplish
is through His help.

~Prayer for the Day~
I pray that I may work for God and with God. I pray that I may be used to change human personalities through God's help.

'I believe God's help is manifested through my diligent effort to act upon and earnestly strive to
apply the inspired wisdom within my life, in all my coming and going. I have learned without
spiritual discipline it surely is unlikely to be working with and/or for God.

'Words on pages are just that, and can only be read. Surely, meaningful words shall become meaningful
when applied and acted upon in one's personal life. All the language on all the pages is just that, and it
is a choice of what to do with them. Dormant and ineffective unless acted upon accordingly, here in the now.

I must prepare myself by doing what I can each day to develop spiritually and to help others do the same.
God tests me trains me and bends me to His will. If I am not properly trained, I cannot meet the test when it comes.
I must want God's will for me above all else. I must not expect to have what I am not prepared for.
This preparation consists of quiet communion with God every day and gradually gaining the strength I need.

I pray that I may really try to do God's will in all my affairs and that I may do all I can to help others find God's will for them.

'I have learned spiritual development requires serious focus on daily discipline and this
also requires maintaining awareness of the basic principles of leading an abundant
life as described in the inspired "teachings."

'I believe ignoring and not adhering to the principles of life surely occurs when one insists on
worldly foolishness and away from the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I believe guidance of the Holy Spirit
does not come from reading or quoting scripture, it has to be lived and experienced. Many may
be fooling themselves to "think" otherwise.

'Words on a page to impress become words of nothing meaningful without some serious awareness
of the Holy Spirit as a heart guidance in spiritual reality and maturity, here in the now.'

The joy of true fellowship shall be mine in full measure. I will revel in the joy of real fellowship. There will come
back a wonderful joy if I share in fellowship now. Fellowship among spiritually minded people is the embodiment
of God's purpose for this world. To realize this will bring me a new life joy. If I share in humanity's joy and travail,
a great blessing will be mine. I can truly live a life not of earth, but a heaven life here and now.

~Prayer for the Day~
I pray that I may be helped and healed by true spiritual fellowship. I pray that I may sense His presence in
spiritual fellowship with His children.

'I am aware spiritual fellowship is often going alone, sharing from the heart, and being in God's care
is a personal experience that not all are engaged in for their own reasons. In all probability, there are those
who simply have not fully experienced a spiritual awakening.

'I believe, and this has been declared from personal testimonies, that often a spiritual awakening occurs
from a profound life-altering event that brings God into focus within one's life, it simply has to be lived
and no words are sufficient to explain how or why...I leave it at that.'

'A different outlook on many things may take place and a sense of common sense surely makes more sense
than all the worldly "Christian" foolishness being witnessed throughout the Christian groups on social media outlets.

'I am not here to judge and/or offend. Scripture knowledge surely is essential, only left with words to explore
for one's own personal choice to use or act upon, or choose to understand in any way one chooses, as most
all have a difference of opinion which surely eliminates a sound spiritual fellowship as the inspired teachings
surely do encourage as a necessity in any hope of unity. Failure to do so brings about precisely that which is
being witnessed...discord, separation, and fragmentation of God's people here in the now.'

The quality of my life determines its value. We must set a standard to judge the value of a person's life.
The most valuable life is one of honesty, purity, unselfishness, and love. All people's lives ought to be judged
by this standard in determining their value to the world. By this standard, most of the so-called heroes of history
were not great men. "What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world, if he loseth his own soul?"

~Prayer for the Day~
I pray that I may be honest, pure, unselfish, and loving. I pray that I may make the quality of my life good by these standards.

'I believe these attributes of life are essential necessities in any hope of living within the spiritual realm
of Jesus Christ, here in the now. Preparation for the coming of unknowns surely surrounds the basic principles
that the inspired teachings adamantly have put forth. Discipline surely shall enhance the necessary preparation
that may well be needed.'

'I believe continued negligence of striving for spiritual discipline surely is a sign of contempt of truth.
Truth appears to be a serious roadblock for those caught up in their 'worldly delusions' that shall take away
attempting to "walk in the Spirit."

'Preparation requires far more than what is read. The "readings" without proper action become words
on many pages...meaningless. A need to take a long, hard look at meaningless posts surely may be in order.'

My five senses are my means of communication with the material world. They are the links between my physical life
and the material manifestations around me. But I must sever all connections with the material world when I wish
to hold communion with the Divine Spirit. I have to hush my mind and bid all my senses be still before I can become
attuned to receive the spiritual communication.

~Prayer for the Day
I pray that my spirit may be in tune with the Spirit of God and that, through faith and communion with Him,
I may receive the strength I need.

'I believe it is all about striving to find spiritual discipline and harmony in this restless world. Surely it is
not meant to be easy as some may indicate. I find it a challenge each day as worldly things are always more
obvious to associate with. I have learned often times my God consciousness comes alive as a remembrance
of how I should conduct my behavior and my language when confronted with troublesome circumstances.

'Precisely why I have my daily quiet times to reflect on my actions, which surely helps to keep myself
in check and not to repeat some of my old habits which cause more harm than good. Thank God I have
learned to strive for spiritual harmony in all my going and coming. This has surely brought about family
closeness and a show of love which helps overcome troublesome issues that surely will arise.

It seems that when God wants to express to men what He is like, He creates a very beautiful character. Think of a personality as God's expression of character attributes. Be as fit an expression of Godlike character as you can. When the beauty of a person's character is impressed upon us, it leaves an image, which in turn reflects through our own actions. So look for the beauty of character in those around you.

I pray that I may look at great souls until their beauty of character becomes a part of my soul.
I pray that I may reflect this character in my own life.

I believe character personalities through the wireless communication platforms can be easily conveyed
however a person chooses to portray themselves. Surely, The language text may not be the person's
real-life character outside the social media spectrum.

'I came to share mainly a spiritual journey that has expanded over two decades, and how my life has
been transformed since my commitment to surrendering my old life and striving to adjust my life to
God's inspired wisdom and love. I believe this requires a serious contemplation of the spiritual truth of reality
over the foolishness of worldly delusional man-mind "ideas" attempting to analyze mysteries of historical things
not meant to be understood, and never to be fully known.

'Even though scripture plainly states purpose and reasoning about the necessity of acquiring a spiritual heart,
the ego of the man-mind appears bent on ignoring scripture about the most profound necessity of a spiritual heart.
And with this attribute, surely true personality characteristics could be known.'

Simplicity is the keynote of a good life. Choose the simple things always. Life can become complicated if you let it be so.
You can be swamped by difficulties if you let them take up too much of your time. Every difficulty can be solved
or ignored and something better substituted for it. Love the humble things of life. Reverence the simple things.
Your standard must never be the world's standard of wealth and power.

I pray that I may love the simple things of life. I pray that I may keep my life uncomplicated and free.
