Exodus is when God wrote and gave the Ten Commandments to Moses. Answer me this, was Moses keeping any Laws observances, sacrifices, moral laws, did he pray, did he keep the Sabbath or Sunday before He received the written commandments of God? The Commandments of God existed before Moses ever received them, if not what Laws did, they live by? The Mosaic Laws mentioned hence.
The Law of Mosses had to do with the Laws coming from the first 5 books of the Hebrew Bible called the Torah.
from the 2nd through the 5th books of the Torah there are 600+ commandments and regulations "the law of Moses" this is on top of the Ten Commandments given by God. We still obey the Ten commandments because they are all moral laws, but we are no longer under all the commandments and regulations that they had to observe before Christ became our sacrificial lamb. So, it did away with the old Mosaic Laws and kept Gods Laws in affect.

Genesis only says that God blessed the seventh day. It says nothing whatsoever about the ten commandments. Deuteronomy comes about 40 years after Exodus, so that would be an anachronistic argument.
Scripture doesn't tell us what Moses' practices were prior to Sinai, and speculation has no evidentiary value.

Our salvation is from the penalty of breaking the law, which is sin and carries a death sentence. 1 John 3:3 Romans 7:7 Romans 6:23
We are no longer under the penalty of the law (death) if one is keeping God's law. It's like speeding, if we are not speeding, we are not under the penalty of the law if one is keeping. God's law is no different. If we do slip and fall, Jesus who took the penalty for our sins, we can go to Him to confess and repent and when He heals He said - Go and sin no more.
Grace is not a license to sin (Break God's law) Paul makes this abundantly clear

In Romans 7:25-8:2, Paul contrasted the Law of God with the law of sin and contrasted the Law of the Spirit of Life with the law of sin and death, so he equated the Law of God with the Law of the Spirit of Life and the Law of God is not the law of sin and death. After all the Spirit is God, so it wouldn’t make sense to interpret that as saying that the Law of the Spirit has made us free from the Law of God as if a house divided against itself could stand, especially when Romans 8:4-7 contrasts those who walk in the Spirit with those who have minds set on the flesh who are enemies of God who refuse to submit to the Law of God. In Romans 7, Paul did not describe the law of sin and death as a law where transgressing it brings death, but he described it as a law that was working within his members to cause him not to do the good of obeying the Law of God that he wanted to do. According to Deuteronomy 28, relying on the Law of God is the way to be blessed while not relying on it is the way to be cursed, so being set free from the curse of the law is being set free from not relying on it so that we can be free to enjoy the blessing of relying on it.
All of God’s righteous laws are eternal (Psalms 119:160), so none of them will ever change. In Deuteronomy 4:2, it is a sin to add to or subtract from God’s law, so Jesus did not do that. In Exodus 20:6, God wanted His children to love Him and obey His commandments, and in Isaiah 29:13, God disdained it when His children honor Him with their lips while their hearts were far from Him, so God’s commandments have never been just about our outward acts. We are commanded not to hate our brother in Leviticus 19:17, so that wasn’t a change. Likewise, if we correctly understand what is being commanded against by the 7th and 10th Commandments against adultery and coveting in our hearts, then we won’t look at a married woman with lust in our hearts. An eye for an eye is still a good guideline for judges to help ensure fair sentencing that does not escalate out of proportion to the offense, but it was a guideline that was only intended to be used by judges and was not intended to be used in personal situations to justify taking revenge into our own hands, rather in personal situations we are instructed not to repay in kind (Proverbs 20:22, 24:29). Escalating forgiveness from 7 to 77 times is what it takes to counter Lamech’s escalating revenge of 7 to 77. Everything that Jesus taught was thoroughly rooted in the OT, after all it is God’s word and he is God’s word made flesh. The Spirit does not have the role of leading us to a higher standard than God’s word, but rather the Spirit has the role of leading us to obey God’s word (Ezekiel 36:26-27)
The Sabbath was never intended to prevent us from doing good, so that again is not a change. In Psalms 119:142, God’s law is truth, so obedience to it is the way worship God in spirit and in truth, we can’t worship in spirit and in truth by rejecting the leading of the Spirit and the truth, and what it says is to keep the 7th day holy and to work the other days. In 1 Peter 1:16, we are told to be holy for God is holy, which is a quote from Leviticus where God was giving instructions for how to do that, we straightforwardly includes keeping God’s Sabbaths holy (Leviticus 19:2-3), and we can’t be holy as God is holy by refusing to follow His instructions for how to do that.

Thanks for the scriptures. The scriptures you referenced on the Sabbath is about Sabbath-keeping which is on the seventh day Exo 20:10
Nothing about the Sabbath resides in us and that somehow countermands God’s 4th commandment to mean something different than how He wrote or spoke it. . Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy Exo 20:8.
