My guess is you do not understand that the Bride is the sum total of ALL TRUE BELIEVERS OF ALL TIME, both the Remnant SAVED in the O.T. and the N.T.
In Fact JESUS NEVER SAID THE WORD CHURCH. HE SAID HE WOULD BUILD HIS ASSEMBLY. Look up the Greek word for CHURCH, it's definition is an ASSEMBLY, the same thing He call O.T. True Believers. He has been building His Assembly from ADAM on. The word Church was a Substution for what He really said, because it was what the N.T. ASSEMBLY was calling itself. ALSO the Apostles themselves used the same Greek word that LITERALLY TRANSLATES ASSEMBLY.

Well, the Bible said when we are telling the Truth to people like we should, we will be called names and persecuted, even with lies about us. My Lord will make it right when we get to Heaven. I know a lot of people calling themselves Christians puff themselves up to think of themselves as Better than the Israelites of the Old Testament, but in reality we are as great a sinners as they were. I used to be a Volunteer Prison Chaplain ministering to the most violent Inmates in the State of California, so I am kind of used to being called names. I used to tell them, we are not better than the worst mass murderer on Death Row; we are as BAD AS HIM.
