If they were backslidden, after they said 'Lord, Lord, open to us', why did the bridegroom say 'verily I say unto you, I know you not'? The door had been shut. If they were Christians, what happened to them? My question is, if a believer misses the rapture, are they given a second chance? Is this what your post is implying? Just trying to understand here.
[1]Because it was to late to go up in the rapture.
[2] "I knew you not", means Jesus didn't recognise then as Christians.
[3]They were all Christians, [They all had oil, The Holy Spirit].
Five were ready watching and waiting.
Five were backsliden, and wasn't recognised as Christians.
[4], Jesus is coming for those who, "Love Him", 1 Cor 16: 22. "Are looking for Him", Heb 9: 28.
Without spot or wrinkle, But holy and without blemish", Eph 5: 27. , "Those that purify themselves", 1 Jn 3: 2--3.
The oil, [Holy Spirit] in the five unwise virgins, was so low because they weren't living for Jesus, that they weren't recognised as Christians.
[5]They were left behind to go through the great tribulation period.
[5]They are given a second chance, but most likely be killed, Rev 6: 9. Rev 20: 4.
