I love it! Thanks!
Men at our gun club had a similar experience with an AR platform a long while back, very interesting to hear the sound of the action for the first time.:)(y):coffee::giggle:

Yes, it's a striker fired action. The feel of it is very much like my Shield handguns. It's a fixed barrel, so accuracy should be good.
I'll post some pics when I get the adapter on it... possibly this weekend.

Congratulations on the new "family" member !
Hope you get a "bang" out of it.
Thank you for the report.
I'm still keeping an eye out for a Ruger Bearcat.

I used to have one of those. An old Super Bearcat with a 4" barrel and I loved that little gun! I learned the kids on it too, when their arms was still short with CB's and then shorts!

Grandson and I as well, he with the Bearcat, I with an older single six that looked like a grown up Bearcat.
He smiled so sweetly punching out the empties and reloading.
When he had civil war history in Junior high, teacher said, "I don't suppose any of you have ever shot a cap and ball pistol?" He was the only one who raised his hand.:)(y):coffee:

Were it not for our guardian angels most of us wouldn't be here.

How NOT to build a cannon-

I hear ya Brother! How not to do it, lol. I made a PVC cannon way better than that. I made it full size and even wired in a grill igniter as a trigger. I'd use hairspray to fuel it or some gas from one of my torches and shoot tubular drain line plastic about 3" long filled with gravel with two wraps of duct tape to seal it good.

I was getting good with it and was proud of it so I took it to a friends house to show it off, and he wanted to shoot it. The problem was, he lived right beside the freeway, but it had like a 7 or 8 ft diameter drain pipe that went under the freeway that was big enough to walk through. He said he'll just shoot it up the pipe, and that did seem reasonable at the time, I mean, it is a big pipe! It would take a lot to miss it so why not.

His first shot...went right over the top of the pipe and went right through the chain link fencing beside the freeway and I heard a BIG THUMP!! It hit a car going by on the freeway. I couldn't believe he missed that big pipe! Time to go, bye! He said I hear ya! and went in his house as I pulled away...The car had to have a huge dent in it from the sound of the thump of it hitting their car! I didn't shoot it very much after that, lol. The novelty wore off for some reason.

Our bearcat was responsible for more kills on game than any other gun we had. Prolly not weight of game meat but amount of kills. The bearcat always got carried and had many opportune moments that were taken advantage of, by me and my sons.

Legend has it that 5 or more squirrels were taken with the bearcat and CB's from the tree by our house alone. I can neither confirm or deny that that happened but I do know that the tree next door did have branches which came over our front yard and they used to tease my dog, which my dog hated so he could have talked one of us into taking city squirrels to grill for him? The grill was right there out front! But my dog says that city squirrels are a lot fatter than mountain squirrels and that he likes them better?

I only ever hit one bad and I knew the rule, chase it down and finish it or at least make honest effort to. I got him in the fatty part of the leg. I was never so scared in my life to be chasing a wounded squirrel through the neighborhood with a firearm! I had CB shorts so it was pretty quiet but a bearcat has a 4" barrel so it wasn't silent by any means! But I did get him and my dog ate good that night.

But that stuff is just legend and who knows if it really happened or not?

I love it, friend. Thank you kindly for sharing this, and we will keep it to ourselves:giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:(y):)

Even if it were true, the statute of Limitations is up now. I lived in Colorado for 30 years and hunted it a lot. That was the only game that I ever hit poorly and had to chase. One time! It didn't go bad either. Wounded game collected and my dog ate the evidence, bones and all! He was right too.. City squirrels are easily twice as big as mountain squirrels! I doubt they'd want to extradite me back there when, there was no victim except the squirrel !!

Wizard Oz: I hope all states enact red flag gun control laws

Dr Oz says we should have Red Flag Laws that take people’s guns away by surveilling their social media posts.

Luckily I'm not in a state which has red flag laws! Besides, there would have to be something to go on besides someones feelings. If someone called the police in my state and said Edward's dangerous do something! Then with no red flag laws, the least they would do is check my record for previous violence or gun charges at some time and how many which might indicate a potential problem. Make sense?

I've never had any sort of gun charge, no robberies, no menacing threats, no violence in fact! Ever! Not even one domestic violence. I didn't whop her butt even one time in 26 years off marriage, even when she was asking for it! Besides, I lied to make the story sound better, lol. I think I'm ok but thanks for the warning Brother.

Yes, you are blessed indeed.
We are very fortunate.

I'm just pointing out with the posts about the Wizard of OZempic that there's reason to recognize him as a wolf with a bloody mouth disguised in sheep's clothing.

I don't know of any here on the forum, but have talked to Republicans that seem to think that any appointments by Trump areas if Jesus did it. I don't know if they think OZ or Trump is cute or into the cult of personality.
We need to get informed so we can pray effectively and fervently....James 5:16.

We also need to convince the gainsayers. I couldn't believe that in his first term when he promoted Red Flag Laws that so many Republicrats got behind them!
It reminded me when W Dubbya came out of the closet 25 years ago, as a gun grabber and too many NRA members agreed with him that the semiautomatic shotguns should be outlawed!
(Insert Biden Shotgun song here.)

Here's two videos we ALL should listen to when we get a chance.
That should motivate us to pray more effectively and perhaps convince a Republicrat over the holidays. Hunting season is here so we will have plenty of opportunities.
