I imagine the Mag version of the .45 has a lot more kick to it than the regular. I have a .45, a big, heavy, ugly, thing. The kick wasn't too bad, considering I don't handle handguns much. But the Mag would probably give me a nose bleed.

Well, it depends on how big your wife is. I'm not even 5'2", and I've shot my brother's .45 comfortably. My 115 lb. sister owns a Glock 40. It would be hard for a lot of women to conceal, but since this isn't her gun, I wouldn't think that would be a problem. However, you know her better than I do.

Anybody ever seen the S&W .500? Here's a pic of it besides a .44 Mag that is called the 'Dirty Harry'. Looks like a water pistol beside that .500.

A guy on youtube has a video where he shot it 29 times, iirc. He hit a concrete block and it disentregated into dust. He said most of the recoil hit the meaty part of his hand, just under his thumb.
XD he likes guns but I think if I show up with that all of the ''lets go for a hike'' thing would paint a whole different picture for him and hes just go right back into the train XD Or he'd be like '' gimmie that I wanna try dat!"
