Perhaps the online sellers are pricing their horribly inflated prices to become unjustly enriched. The nearby Brownell's, where they do get a shipment, don't do this and sell at about the same as you found at your range. Such as the online offering of CCI Standard Velocity at 26 cents a round.
 
I hear they have really taken off with new designs and high quality.
I personally have never owned a Taurus, perhaps in the future.

My son bought one. It is much lighter than his S&W 38 special and also hold 6 rounds. It's very comfortable in my back belt holster.

My experience with Taurus reliability has kinda soured me on them. Maybe we can find some cheap target ammo and check it out.
 
I have no problem with requiring a permit to carry a concealed handgun. I have a problem with making it impossible to get a permit. If a person has completed a course in firearm safety and has passed a background check, there should not be any reason to reject his application for a permit.
 
I am receiving more and more offers of ammunition on the internet, yet the prices seem to be still way too high, the good news being at least one of these sellers has offered the same item for over a week indicating to me there are not enough buyers at the exorbitant prices to sell out the supply, that is good news and will work to bring down the prices.
 
Just saw some Winchester white box for $409 a case. Looks to be slowly coming down, our resistance to the gouging will be a help.

my Square Deal B set up for 9mm, other wise, not right now, seems hopeful as we see prices slowly coming down.
 
there are a series of videos on you tube of Autumn's Armory, she is quite a safe young shooter, well spoken, and I enjoy seeing her and sharing the videos. Yes, the bayonet charge surprised me too!
She shot a can of pumpkin once, there was a brief time out for cleanup! ha!
