That awkward moment when you say "Hey so-and-so!" to realize that it wasn't that person. X.x that's enough to make someone want to be buried in a hole. Or is that just me?
 
I wouldn't mess with that other thread. She is like the senior senior senior moderator on this site and I'm sure it was just a coinkydink. :) I know Alayna and I don't think she would ever steal someone else's idea for a thread. Especially since she's never on the forums to begin with.

That awkward moment when the back window of your car has been shot out, so you cover it with a black trash bag. Then you get pulled over, and the officer says,

"Are you aware that your back window is missing?"

And you have to bite your tongue and not say any of the dozens of very sarcastic responses that popped into your head, because hey, you respect law enforcement, even when they ask really, really stupid questions.

So you go with, "That explains the draft in here" and the officer does not, in fact, find it amusing.

That awkward moment when you call a lady 'sir' and a man 'miss'. I do that all day long and it's so embarrassing!! (YES I do know the difference between men and women!)
 
That awkward moment when you know you're selling needles to a junkie, but you legally have to because the type of needles they're buying are allowed.
