Some customer complains about a manager/coworker and you're not sure if they still work there, but don't want to rebuke the customer

That awkward moment when you're sleeping and your apartment's maintenance man lets himself in to fix things and they have to knock on your bedroom door to wake you up ... (And you're not very presentable either T_T)

You are at the doctors office, and she hands you a paper towel gown.
You're like....."seriously?" lol

I mean...a paper towel gown?

Doc....shall I flutter around your breakroom. Perhaps.....perform Swan Lake? Absorb some coffee spills for you. Lol

The awkward moment when someone ignores a room full of mostly empty chairs and picks the one right next to you. I need space. LET ME LIVE.
 
The awkward moment when one friend is complaining about "another person" and you realise that "that person" is actually your closest friend.
 
That awkward moment when you get a dividend check from the nonprofit that you work for (which happens once or twice a year), which in the past has always been a cut check rather than direct deposit, as are the normal paychecks. So out of habit, you go to the bank to put it in your account and you can't figure out why the ATM won't accept it. Then you go to the teller to deposit the check, and she tells you that it was direct deposited, and she looks at you in such a way that you can tell she pities you slightly because she thinks that you can't read.
 
That awkward moment in a resteraunt...when you are at such peace enjoying your dinner.

But the parents at the table next to you...will not control their unruly children because they are texting.

I can hardly say " Will you please control your children!"

So I quietly pop a rolaids lol
 
That awkward moment when you realised you fallen asleep at a meeting, and without realising you been snoring really loud, and when you wake up you feel guilty and embarrassed.

Yeh an awkward moment for me in the past haha.
 
The awkward moment when I was at lunch with my roommate and we started talking to these two guys next to us. As we were about to leave, one of the guys turned to me and said, "I have a MySpace. Would you want to be my friend?"

I laughed at first, thinking it was a joke, until he pulled up his MySpace on his phone........
 
That awkward moment when somebody mentions friending you on Facebook and you say you don't have facebook... And everybody in the room turns to stare at you like you're some kind of space alien.

What? I just haven't been assimilated. Nothing against you if you have, I just don't want to be.
 
Well that awkward moment when you thought you were responding to one person in the thread thanking them for posting a pic and your response went to the bottom of thread out of order. Fantastic timing

That awkward moment when you fall asleep on your desk at work...only to be woken up by the director of the department with a smile and a cup of coffee. At least he took it well I hope...I'll find out during my reviews lol :rolleyes:

HAHA! That happened actually last week. I accidentally fell asleep at my desk...but I didn't get a coffee offer.
 
I wish it had gone down like your situation...sure a coffee right there and then was great...just not from the director of my department hahaha :)
 
The Awkward moment,
when I'm talking to myself
in my head, and someone heard me
and told Eh, are you OK?
Sometimes I think that I speak to myself
in my head but finally I spoke in a loud voice.
