That awkward moment when you forgot you were holding your Daughter's sticky sucker hand and shake your son's new hockey coaches hand with the sticky sucker hand.

That awkward moment when you get out of the shower and squeal loudly, thinking you stepped on a mouse or something, only to realize that it was just a stray feather from your featherduster :o
 
That awkward moment when your cousin and her wife says that they have a surprise for you but only to find out it was his cute best friend. I got so caught-off guard because I was doing laundry and wearing an ugly loose shirt and leggings. O.o And to think I had the biggest crush on him on high school. O.O
 
that awkward moment when you think you see your brother in the distance (down the street) and start waving and jumping up and down and running towards him, and halfway there realize its some stranger!!

(i felt like melting from embarrassment ....)
 
That awkward moment when....................... you pick up a seashell on the beach and put it to your ear to hear the ocean, but all you hear is a recording that says "Due to a bad economy caused by mass inflation, you'll need to insert your debit card if you wish to hear the ocean."

Wow, I guess nothing is free anymore!!!

I have done that before only i called her sister and ran up to her yelling sister at her. OOPs

That awkward moment when all of a sudden a person standing in front of you and you can't really tell if it's a He or a She. And the person was asking me something and the first thing I said was Ha??!! :rolleyes: cuz my mind wasn't thinking about the person's question, but rather trying to figure out if the person is a he or a she. And I didn't find out still at the end!!!! :D
 
The awkward moment when you realize that "you" shouldn't be both singular AND plural, especially when it often doesn't even refer to the person to which he or she is talking XD! Of course, one can just say "one", instead of "you"...
