Hi Pippy!

I know I asked you this in PM, but, for anyone else out there like me who might need a little extra help... (ok, maybe A LOT of extra help!), what, exactly, IS a Majestic Llamacorn?

When I first saw the name, I immediately associated it with "candy corn."

Is a "llamacorn" a sweet treat?

I would find that very fitting. :)

It's a llama unicorn. We're all majestic and junk.

Behold

Overall run divided by say.... 11" gives you the number of steps.
Overall height divided by number of steps gives you your riser
Don't forget to cut the thickness of the tow kick from the back of the
stringer.
And the thickness of the subfloor from the bottom of the stringer
(Unless measuring from framing)
3' min on landimgs, so your steps/run (not overall) may change.

Don't buy one of those keypad door locks. They wear out and will leave you without a way to open the door from the outside. Not even with the key (because the key won't work either when the lock is worn out).

If you do buy one, change the battery once a year or you won't be able to open the door from outside when it dies. That happened to my neighbor at 1am one night when they got home from the airport and they had to get their teenage nephew to climb in through the bathroom window.
