Teaching end time events?

Now will the rapture actually happen? I honestly don't know but people are going so far as to sell everything they own quitting their jobs doing all kinds of things like that in anticipation of the rapture happening.

I would advice against this because if it comes and goes then people will have lost everything and not to mention I personally have not recieved any word or dream about the rapture happening in september so I am a bit skeptical about it but if in fact it does I can only pray I am counted worthy to go home when it does happen

Me too, Brother. I don't think it can be in September because no one knows the day or hour, Besides, the Lord (I believe) has His man Trump and it is said that he will continue to drain the swamp and (if we all pray enough) we can return to being a righteous nation with revival for the Kingdom and setback for the enemy.

It could be today though. It's pretty cloudy out!

Until I receive a word or vision or dream or some kind of sign that it is actually that close and will happen in september I am not really putting my hopes in it just to be let down from yet another date setting by people

In fact the only reason I still have hope for the rapture is because of a dream I received in 2017 where the Lord spoke to me saying don't give up on the rapture because it is closer than you think. This also happened to be the year the revelation 12 sign appeared in the heavens exactly as the scriptures said it would but it is also important to understand that the feast days are his appointed times Jesus came and fulfilled three of them four remain to be fulfilled

Date setters and false prophets are the reason I gave up on the rapture in my early years of salvation, had God not directly told me to not give up on it in 2017 I still to this day would have given up on the rapture even with the many rapture dreams I have had

Jud 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:

Isa 41:22 Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.
Isa 41:23 Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
Isa 41:26 Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.
Isa 41:28 For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.
Isa 41:29 Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion.

Not everybody responds to God loves you and Jesus saves.

The end time is good for reaching people for when they see it come to pass they will wonder how you knew and might turn to the Lord.

It can also increase the faith of some saints.

A saint does not have to know all the details that will happen, the how, when, and why, but many know the world will go against the operation of God on earth led by the antichrist.

Even if a saint knew nothing they still know if they go against the God of Israel and Jesus is Lord and Savior do not go along with them.

Prophesy seems to be more of a benefit to reach the world than for the saints at this time.

Which some saints turned to the truth because of prophesy.
 
I watch Prophesy Watchers and of course end times is the main topic most weeks. Les Feldick and his Through The Bible has some end times stuff as well. I like Answers In Genesis also.

But you would of not understood before technology as well as anybody else.

Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Dan 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Dan 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Daniel did not understand which he could not for he had a limited view of the world and possibly could not understand how the world could assemble itself.

The book is sealed which means no person can understand it until the end time.

Which they will understand it at the end time because many shall run to add fro, advanced travel, and knowledge shall be increased. advanced technology.

Which then the saints can see, know, and hear, what is going on in the earth, and how it is possible for the world to adapt a system that is contrary to the operation of God because they can communicate with each other and encounter each other by travel.

Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

The disciples would be in the same position as Daniel having a limited view of the world.

How would the disciples know about things happening all over the earth without technology.

So Jesus had to be directing it to the saints at the end time.

But with technology we know of the conflicts and the earthquakes, and famines, and pestilences, happening all over the earth.

And the world pushing for more the ways of man and not God.

New age christianity, United Nations that does not promote Christianity, WW1, League of Nations, and does not turn to God, WW2, United Nations, and does not turn to God.

But they keep inserting the ways of people more and less of God.

It is not my place to reprimand him. Did not say a thing to him.
Just passed alone what he admitted to me.
In my opinion after 40 years any Child of God should have had some knowledge of end time events seeing that many Scriptures speaks of these events.

When I had this loss, I was drawn to Philippians. Paul saw his imprisonment as God just changing directions in his life.
That is how I see it.
I have been encouraged to organize my hundreds of pages of notes into a Bible study for others to read and I am working on that at this time.

I can relate to this as I am currently in prisoned in this nursing home with no way out in sight and it has been a sobering experience I am better able to understand Paul with his situation. and yeah what your doing sounds great I would love to read your notes

My wife and I are still able to live on our own, but not as we have been accustomed to.
Except for the 6 years (65-71) I had to work and live in California, we have always lived in the country where we raised a garden and had all kinds of critters.
We had to give that up because we could no longer take care of things, and we were an hour from any medical help if needed.
We now live in an apartment 15 miles from a hospital.
But it is in a small town, overlooks a lake, has deer that often graze on the lawn, and is quiet and safe.
Things have changed, but we are still blessed by God.

That sounds nice and my kind of place to live, If I could I would live in a small town with a lake and plenty of nature to admire and go on my walks I love being around nature

Some churches I've been to a long time ago did, some didn't. Nowadays it turning into entertainment and motivational speeches. Not a lot of expositional teaching.

If it is your opinion, why say that Jesus is not pleased with him as though you had some personal audience? Of course it is within the scope of teaching from scripture to present the future according to scripture, but better to say I don't know then get it messed up or argue over pre, during or post Christians not enduring the wrath to come. Also, not every pastor is a teacher and we learn in the NT that God should be choosing what gifts He gives to someone. One very big reason churches are often so bad today is this is often neglected.

That's how you end up with people doing things they are not suited to do and God does not bless those efforts.

IMO, it could be argued that Lahaye became popular because people like microwaves: they deliver food fast but with questionable nutrition.
