Teaching end time events?

Because the Bible divides the 7 years of tribulation into 3 and a half year periods.
My first post was serious. I'm not sure why some found it humorous. #shrug

Ah! Yes, that's why I thought it humorous.
That, and Jesus's 3.5 year ministry. It never occurred to me until I went back and checked the dates.
I had a dream about the rapture last night but it didn't happen as I expected it wasn't like a sudden swoop into the air kind of thing there was a massive earthquake that shook the earth and the dead rose from the ground into the air then before I went up the dream ended
No they looked more like floating spirits ascending into the airHow did the dead look? (I hope they didn't look like the Walking Dead!)
Does that mean you believe in soul sleep? That we won't be conscious until the Lord Jesus gathers us?

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
King James Version
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
I think soul sleep is a good possibility because how else would the dead in Christ rise?
I am 34 but I am only here because it was an emergancy situation I was going to die if I didn't come here I was starving to death abd my health was at a critical level
But now that I am here and have my health back I have nowhere to go so I am stuck here
Jesus commanded His churches to teach all things.
He gave pastors and teachers to His churches so they could accomplish this commandment.
He gave the Scripture so those pastors and teachers and all of us could study and understand.
Some on this forum say, even brags that they do not attend a church, have not part in the ministry of a local church and then claims they are pleasing God.
I do not believe God is pleased with that person's decision, and I will say so to their face, and often have.
I know and understand there may be reasons, but most offer excuses.
I also believe that any person that takes on the responsibility of a pastor or teacher should take the time and put forth the effort to know as much of the truth as possible.
BUT, when a pastor of 40 years freely admits he has never studied end time events or any Bible truth, that disappoints me.
I can not see where God is pleased with a person that does not even try to learn and know.
I agree with those who believe that a person not qualified should not teach.
I know some struggle with some subjects. I struggle with all I study, but with much prayer and a desire and the putting forth the time and effort. I can learn and so can others.
Peter speaks of those who are willfully ignorant.
While many choose to be ignorant, I do not.
I freely admit I may not know much, but it is not because I do not try

Well, I didn't like that your roommate was stealing your money so that you couldn't buy food. I don't want you going back to that.
Maybe you're stuck at the nursing home until God can provide you a better place to live? I will pray for that.
