Does the local church you attend teach end time events?
Does the pastor and teachers even know what the Scripture teaches?
I recently talked to a pastor who is 67 years old and has been a pastor for 40 years who admitted he had never studied or been taught the end time events and had no knowledge of what will take place.
He said he saw little importance in knowing or teaching this subject.
His only concern was to win the lost.
Seems he is ignoring Jesus command to make disciples and then teach them all things.

My church hasn't really preached on it either.

They concentrate on teaching about walking with the Lord, and spreading the gospel, which are good things of course.

I think most churches find it hard to teach or explain the end times, so they just avoid it. Also, I think they are aware it could cause division very easily.

I'm kind of glad that my church has not taken an official position actually.

I do not attend earth Churches, any of them!
I heard WHAT????????? I got to
Really, Has Father, Daddy, PaPa stopped talking? Will Father reveal truth to us each as his child within us
the Bible is a gigantic love story from To go us all to hear from God
1 John 2:27 and know truth, the truth that sets one free to love all in mercy and truth also
If anyone of you preach and have hate for another, you are deceived from Truth of the love and mercy of God for you, maybe, you decide
1 John 2:1-27, Col 121-23, Eph 1:6,7,13. The entire Bible is written as Love from God to us all to believe God and receive the love of God imputed in us 1 Cor 13:4-7, 13
Ask sincerely, receive truthfully and go ahead try to hate anyone, I bet you can't, might want to, yet can't, those born new can't and learn not to Thank you Father

When Jesus said to teach all things, He meant all things.
To avoid any subject because it might cause divisions is not a reason that Jesus would accept.
I do not advocate to concentrate only on end time events, but it should not be avoided.
A pastor or any teacher should have an understanding of the truth so he can answer questions when asked.
I have met to many who could not. Maybe that is why so many churches do not teach end time events.
I led a class on end time events for 8 years. All were encouraged to ask questions and make comments.
It was available to all who wished to participate. It was the largest class on Sunday morning Bible study.
I have to stop July 2024 when a medical issues took away my hearing.

That is your loss and Jesus is not pleased with your decision.

I'm sorry you lost your hearing! I hope and pray you are okay!

There is a suggestion box on the reception desk at church, so I'll probably ask that they consider doing a multiweek Bible study on the end times. Maybe a church elder will start it.

Probably one of the most divisive topics in 'Christian' circles. So the pastor is 67 and pastored for 40 years. Did you reprimand him?
May I ask what qualifications you have to judge his life?

Im not a church goer either. I can say the church I attended did a bible study on Revelation. So that was good But that pastor is gone, the replacement I dont care for and my motivation for finding anothet church is lacking.

My preacher completed a teaching of the end times in 2023. It took 3 and 1/2 years from start to finish.

I am sadly unable to attend church due to being trapped in this nursing home but I have been to many churches in the past and none of them taught on the end times I was always curious as to why as it seems to be a pretty important subject

Many go to revelation for end times study but in actuallity the book of Daniel is the go to for understanding the end times and for those who do not go to church we all have our reasons for it but to be fair many churches these days are deeply lacking. in fact only one church that I have been in out of the many churches I tried could actually feel the holy spirit when you walked in

There's 300 prophecies about Jesus first coming. And over 2500 about the 2nd coming!

So I'd say it is a good subject to be discussed and studied.

There are tons of good teaching videos on youtube from more pastors than you can name and, taking about what else? End times, here we are.

I don't have a church that I'm a member of. I've been to a lot of services at different churches in tow, but, I felt no draw to join any of them. The last church that I was a member of I went to work at and I fixed whatever it was and then stepped inside the sanctuary on my way out and got nailed by a heavy presence of the Holy Spirit, so I did join that church.

The Olivet discourse is a good place to start.

Churches proved during the Covid lockdowns that in-person church attendance isn't necessary. There are plenty of churches that do live streaming now just like they did then.

That's a great point. People forget that the book of Daniel has everything to do with end times. Daniel is the key to understanding Matthew 24

Even so I do wish I could find a church that would give me a ride there and one that I would truly enjoy going to because while yes it is not exactly needed to be in person it also is not the same as being there with people in person vs live streams or podcasts

Yes if one was to do a study on end times events I would recommend beginning with Daniel

It is a necessary thing to attend church for the fellowship
during worship to God. He likes corporate worship where all His people lift up their praise to Him at the same time. I don't get that by getting fellowship on a forum.

But they church age is almost over. The age of grace will be over also.

Do you have fellowship with other Christians in some other way if you can't go to church?

This forum is a good one, if nothing else.

Yes it is almost over and many are looking to september of this year in particular the feast of trumpets the one day known as the day and hour no one knows Jesus wasn't saying no one will know when the rapture is going to happen he was referencing that feast day which the jewish culture would have recognized.

Now will the rapture actually happen? I honestly don't know but people are going so far as to sell everything they own quitting their jobs doing all kinds of things like that in anticipation of the rapture happening.

I would advice against this because if it comes and goes then people will have lost everything and not to mention I personally have not recieved any word or dream about the rapture happening in september so I am a bit skeptical about it but if in fact it does I can only pray I am counted worthy to go home when it does happen

Yes I do fellowship on this forum and on another forum I am helping prepare what the owner and I call the end times army, this site has been my home ever since I was saved in 2012 and I have learned and grown so much because of the people here so to me this forum is just as much a church as any building the only down side is that interation is limited I wish they at least had the chat rooms again I never tried them but I think it would be good idea to have them available again
