I know Dude, have for years on here and I agree with what he said in his post.
This is what he said in his post:
Yeah, thanks for being reasonable.
Some people might think I'm being an edge Lord but I'm just responding to the prevailing anti-semitic rhetoric I've been seeing on this forum lately.

Op.. it's basically just a repeat of blood libel, which was part of Hitler's reasoning for genociding the Jews

And then there was another individual who basically said that the Jews deserved the holocaust.

So basically. ..."all I did was say something incredibly hateful and toxic, why are you being so hostile?"

I'm capable of having a reasonable conversation is you know because you've known me for years but if someone is just being overtly hateful then I will abandon all pretense of civility.

What was the anti semitic rhetoric in this thread? Where was the equivalence to Hitler? Surely if you agree 100% to what he said here you can point out the examples he is referring to.

The OP is gone, what are you screaming about??? You're not the OP, the topic is wherever the posters take it. When have you ever been in a thread that hasn't derailed to another subject? I get a newbie acting like that but you know better. Let it go man!
I am not screaming. I am not letting it go. I want to know what posts in this thread were "anti semitic" and "Hitler's reasoning"? I have not read every single post, but I did read the first post and did not pick up on anything that was either "anti semitic" or "Hitler's reasoning". So help me out, what post is it that you are referring to?

I didn't say I agree with him 100%, I said I agreed with his comment.
My mistake, you said "Hate should not have any place in a Christian forum" that is what you agree on. Can you point to the offending post which was hateful and should not have any place in a Christian forum from this thread?

Jesus was innocent and yet they crucified Him

And this is why we got to the Holocaust in the first place. The Jews, as a collective people, did not crucify Jesus. Not every Jew is culpable for the crucification of Jesus. The Jewish LEADERS of that time were guilty. The Bible says we are guilty for our OWN sins unless we are under the blood. I don't answer for sins my father committed nor he for mine. Not only that, but Christ willingly went to the cross to die for my sins, my sins held him there! YOUR sins held him there. Funny how Christians scoot past that and then blame all the Jews for Jesus death.

Were they innocent?

Are you serious??!!! Of course they were innocent!!! And they weren't the only ones who died. I can't believe you'd even ask that question!!

I pointed out that a Jew is someone who claims to have a covenant with God, the word is derived from Judah. When you have a covenant with God you must abide by the covenant. God told the Jews to return to Israel beginning in 1917. It was 22 years later when they were rounded up into the Ghettos and then sent to the concentration camps. This means that everyone who was rounded up chose to ignore God's call to return to Israel or their parents ignored the call. Read the covenant, it is very clear in the covenant (The Old Testament) what would happen if you ignore God and refuse a call to return.

No, 1948 is the date God had in mind. Israel is the nation born in a day. I don't see where that is found in Scripture. And not everyone is able to "pack up and move". Even with Nazi's bearing down on their necks many still couldn't leave. Not every Jew is rich you know.

yeah, I already said this multiple times. unless the 1930s Jews built a time machine and went back 2,000 years, they are not complicit in the crucifixion of christ.

Hitler literally used the same sentiment and anyone who pretends otherwise is being disingenuous.

also, I believe this is the millionth time I've said this but the Jews are our strongest and most loyal Ally in the fight against global jihadism.

and if people think people of different belief systems can't come together to fight a common enemy, they're going to be real mad when they find out about military.

Right, the Christ killer mythology has caused so much suffering among the Jewish people. Then Christians turn around and are stunned that Jews don't want to become born again. Both the Catholics and Protestants repented of this heresy of all Jews as Christ killers after WW2. And they stopped the Replacement Theology heresy, but people have short memories and it's raising its ugly head again in the church. It's a pity that people are so blind and easily swayed.

The point is not that they are guilty of for what their parents did. The point is that the Jews were kicked off the land of Israel because they rejected the Messiah. It was the crucifixion that led to them being kicked out. Yes, they were given 40 years to repent, just like Jonah gave Nineveh 40 days to repent, but the reason God kicked them out of Israel and made them wander the earth for 2,000 years was because they rejected the Messiah. The Holocaust is the event that caused them to be given statehood in Israel and the reason many Jews came to Israel. But it will be after the tribulation that they accept that Jesus was the Messiah, that is when they will see Him whom they pierced.

The fallacy in the whole "that was 2,000 years ago" argument is that they continue to reject Jesus as the Messiah today and they justify that because they are Jews. So rejecting Jesus as the Messiah is not something Jews did once 2,000 years ago but have since repented of, they haven't repented and they continue to do this to this day. It is one thing for a Gentile who does not have a covenant with God to not receive Jesus Christ as the Messiah, but it is very different for Jews who do have a covenant and were told to be looking for the Messiah to reject Him.

yep that's why I unapologetically told that other guy, if you have a problem with the Jews being an ally against jihadism go joint hamas.

Islam is violently opposed to Western values , and any ideology that is spread by force will be resisted by force.

so my response to these people is you're either for us or against us and if you're against the Jews then you might as well go join Hamas.

Hitlers reasoning?? Where did I say that?
The reason for the confusion was that when you said you agreed 100% you were replying to the full comment. You can edit comments so that you only quote where he said "hate has no place in a Christian chat forum." and then say I agree 100%.

You should not be surprised that I and likely others would misinterpret what you meant.

The synagogue of satan is a reference to people in the first century.
well it wasn't Satan worshipers who flew planes into our building so there's that.

let's do a thought experiment. a man runs into an airport with a bomb strap to his chest. what do you think he yells...Allah akbar, or hail satan? my money is on the former.

I thought someone who thinks they get to spend eternity with 70 virgins if they commit a terrorist attack and kill civilians was by definition a Satan worshipper.

Yes, I know all this but God has not forsaken the Jews. Romans 11 says how God feels about the Jewish people. He is still calling them. But there are many who have no clue who Jesus is. That is why we have Christian groups that try to reach out to Jewish people. I saw one lady interviewed and she said she thought Jesus was Catholic. I don't deny that the Jews have lost use of the land because of unbelief. But God says He can, and will, graft them in again.

Well essentially everyone who doesn't confess Christ as Lord is a Satan worshiper, they just don't know it.

yeah that seems to be the prevailing sentiment on this forum. "anyone who doesn't share my beliefs is a Satan worshiper."

The sentiment is there is no third option. It is based on the fact that "the whole world lies in the evil one" and "there is no other name given under heaven by which men may be saved than Jesus Christ" and Jesus saying no man comes to the Father but by Him.

also, "I was blowing my shafar"... I almost died of cringe reading that line. like could you be any more pretentious?

sounds like someone who enjoys sniffing is on flatulence.

You can buy a Shofar for $70 on Amazon.com. Hardly pretentious.

Well, Im not that close minded. I've been in a lot of denominations in my life, more than most people. I'm not one of those people that if you don't attend my church, or if you don't attend church at all, that you're of the devil. But if you haven't received Christ as your personal Savior, you're lost. That being said, God knows the heart, I don't. Ultimately, my job is to tell people about Christ and the Good News. And that's where my job ends. As the song goes, "I catch em', He cleans em".
