Alright, I admit it. Sometimes when I wave my hands in the air, I actually do care. :/
I have officially quit my job and now have one week left in Scotland, which will be spent cleaning
(and maybe trying to find one more gem that I haven't seen yet)

Sounds exciting. Where to next? You can drop by Singapore and I'll give you a free tour![]()
That would have been fun
... but I think it would be quite a detour
Who knows, maybe I end up there for a holiday some time. We plan to drive through northern Europe

It's been a super long day... had a death in the family this evening.. please pray for us as we make arrangements in the upcoming days. Thanks
Tomorrow is photo day at work.
Working in early childhood, there are only three days a year I wear makeup. Photo day, Christmas party day, and the day the firemen come to visit.
I'm not ashamed.
LOL, I don't blame you. Firemen are usually gorgeous!![]()

when i was in college and living with a girlfriend, the apartment above mine caught fire and my roommate woke me up because we needed to evacuate. our apartment wasn't on fire yet, but it was quickly threatening. further, the firemen were wanting to make sure everyone was out so they could account for everyone.
as i was following my roommate to the door, i was wearing some comfy old nightshirt and socks and mostly still asleep. as my roommate julie opened the front door, i could see 356356354734 firemen and emergency personnel outside.
naturally, i did the reasonable and prudent thing--turned on my heel and hustled back to my bedroom.
at that point, i made a quick clothing change and grabbed my lip gloss, and yanked the ponytail out of my hair. it might have been the fastest i got ready for ANY gentleman caller. ; p
mind you, any gentleman caller summoned by 911. and not exactly there to see me.
