I've always liked the idea of being friends first. That way, he sees me for me. Neither one has the pressure of "I need to impress." Ain't nobody got time fo dat!

My only problem is I don't know when the guy likes me. Lol the struggle lol

I feel like there's always some intrinsic desire to impress even a friend when you're attracted to them. That's just kind of the dynamic people seem to have (more of an issue with guys trying to impress the ladies).
 
Ah well, I've honestly never seen a guy trying to impress me. Or maybe I'm just clueless to it? The latter is more probable lol

Exactly. Being friends takes the pressure off and allows something natural to come from it.

Nah... you just need a man who is sure of what he wants and won't try to hint at you what he feels... He'll just tell you, and he'll sweep you off your feet and you'll live happily ever after!!! :D

i'm just a clueless penguin. lol

i can easily tell when a guy likes some other girl, but i can never tell when it comes to me. i think it's because i'm so used to being the friend. OH! and because idk how to flirt, if a guy was interested in the past, the poor fellow had no clue whether or not to pursue? gah. seriously, i've only had one guy ask me out, and he just stirred up the courage to ask me cuz i never gave him any clues lol

y'all pray for me cuz i need help. lol!!!!!

My dad kind of asked me some weird questions about moving out last night. I told him right now it's too soon, I'm tired of flip-floppin' around. And right now I don't have money to go out and look for an apartment, even if I did get a roommate.
 
This lady is rambling and I'm hardly listening. I'm just redeeming my free Subway cookie instead.

...I should probably get back to work.

Wow!!! But you're so young!!!!

I was 21 when I got my first job and my dad was mad at me cause he wanted me to do nothing but study!!!

And after I divorced and went back to my parents for a while, he didn't want me to get a place of my own cause, the way he saw it, there wasn't a good reason for me to live by myself if I could live with them...

And that's kinda the way parents think around here...

You are so young!!!!!!
 
I just registered for my adult ballet class and my beginning ballroom classes. I do love to dance. Ballet is my favorite because it's SO disciplined. The movement and structure is so comforting... I miss it when we go on summer break.

Before anyone gets any ideas? I'm not a good dancer, but I do love to dance.
 
I love to dance, too! I probably learned most of my awesome dance moves from "Soul Train" though. Hahaha!! :rolleyes:
