On the left, seared chicken breast with pico de gallo and guacamole (not at all hot tonight...the fresh jalapenos had zero heat today). On the right, fried tilapia with diced fresh jalapeno and chipotle ranch. (Those are Angie's all time favorite taco, too. I will introduce her to REAL carnitas next time she visits...not that fake Chipotle business.)
 
There will be NO SHOOTING OF FRIENDS... or enemies for that matter.

Sometimes I get really confused, and spend a few days wondering if I offended someone, or if I'm just imagining weirdness.

I think it's me. I said or did something, I had to have, because otherwise...what the heck? I dunno. I wish people would just tell me up front if I've crossed some kind of line instead of ignoring me and leaving me to wonder.

Why the heck did this wake me up in the middle of the night? Bah, go back to sleep, brain.

EXACTLY! I wish, I wish, I wish more people comprehended this! If it works, USE IT! Never upgrade just for the sake of upgrading. You lose what you like and usually have to learn a lot of new stuff and you will probably be generally unhappy with it when you get it.
 
I keep getting myself hurt in one way or another. Last night I burned my mouth so badly on pizza there's now blisters on the roof of my mouth. This morning when I woke up, my cat was in the middle of the hall. I stepped over him (but managed not to step on him) and he clawed the heck outta my leg.

Think about it this way...

The blisters on your mouth are the perfect excuse for icecream and snow cones ALL THE TIME!!!! :D

And the scratches your cat gave you... well... I like to think about it as a reminder that you managed to save your cat from a serious injury!! He is smaller and would've been badly hurt if you didn't manage to catch yourself!!

So... smile!!! It is a good day!!! :D
