I like Dashie's idea. Only for me it includes a fan, a dark room, lots of pilows, and my ipad XD
Ah, tacos came, and they went. I think it might be time to move on.
In a couple of threads, I brought up cannibalism. That might just be my new thing.

Anyway - at the piano bench is my cat, Marty. If I had been thinking of anything other than the painting when I took the pic, I would have uncluttered the junk on the left side of the piano - and placed something much more difficult than MacDowell's "Woodland Sketches" right in the middle - maybe a Chopin Impromptu or something else I can't play yet.
But hey - it's one of the prettier parts of my living room.
Speaking of pictures featuring Steve-things...
...last night, I found the photo from when I dropped in on you three years ago.
It's pretty blurry. But it's us. Shall I post?
That was three years ago? Wow!
Post away. They've seen you in a dress. They may as well see me in regular man-clothes.
I like the reality of the "mess" and a lovely piece of music.... And the dr Seuss landscape
Je parles en Français,
Donc:
Salut ça va bien?
Oui et toi?
Oui je vais super bien!
OK, qu'est-ce que tu fais de bon?
Eh, bien pas grand chose et toi?
Rien de bien spécial non plus!

Aesthetically speaking, I'd say that the picture as a whole works very well as a still life. I would just crop a bit off the top and edit out the partial torchere lamp on the right.View attachment 121067
Those who have seen me in chat have seen part of this as a blurred background. My cousin did the painting and had no idea that I had a painting of his, so he wanted me to take a pic for him since he didn't remember painting it from the description I gave. He's semi-famous in some art circles for impressionistic California landscapes. Upon receiving the pic he said "Oh, that's from my minimalist Dr. Seuss period."
