two pages of "bean" discussion and no one has made a fart joke yet?

**sniffle** **sniffle** everybody is growing up!

I wouldn't go that far.....just because we didn't post it, doesn't mean we weren't thinking it :P

Time to enjoy new things little brother from another mother ;)

PerSnickety, I'm much the same way (minus the Starbucks). There's a Christian girl I've just begun communicating with via email, on recommendation from a friend. She said that she enjoyed water-skiing and the beach in her spare time and this was my reply, saying what I did in my spare time:

I'm a bit more mellow, most of the time. I love to read fiction and non-fiction. I enjoy playing board games etc. with friends, having discussions about the Christian faith and life in general. I also love to watch movies and TV series and analyze them. I'm not one for partying. I prefer a small gathering of people I identify with and whose company I enjoy. In that environment, anything we do I find enjoyable.

Put your name and hers on a paper and put it in the bible. And if you want, you can PM me her name and I'll put yours and hers on the alter with a prayer for God's best will to direct this relationship. :)

I really don't care for the beach. We'll see if anything eventuates from this communicative transaction.

Thanks. Her name's Tanya. But what does that do? It's a bit early to do anything, I've only emailed her once or twice!

Hopefully, your erudite ways accentuate well with her to bring communication to a more communicative level, tin-tin :D The Lord leads. I wouldn't turn that help down though (from IloveyouGod), cuz, when it comes to finding love, we can use all the extra 'faith' help we can get :D

WHAT??? :D
No Tintin! You should pray from day one for God's blessing and will for both of you from day ONE!! :)
I'll send you a beautiful prayer that worked wonders for me! :) both of you should pray it, whether together or separate. But please Tintin, pray pray pray. Even if you don't want to pray that prayer I'll send to you. You pray whatever you want to say

So are you gonna pray Tintin? :o

I stopped at the supermarket after work tonight. I was walking around it was quiet, then that song, The Rose, sung by Bette Middler comes on. Ugh, it's a pretty song, but it's depressing. And it always reminds me of 7th grade chorus when our teacher made us sing it at our choral concert. We had to do these hand motions to. It was so annoying. Then we had to practice it over and over and over and over. I think that's one reason I didn't join chorus in the 8th grade.

It's fun if you sing it "Elmer Fudd" style.

Sorry if I misunderstood you. Yes, I understand the importance of prayer, even from day one. I was more confused about the significance of putting our names between the pages of the Bible. :)

Oh my gosh you're right, I went here The Dialectizer, you can type in words and read what they'd be like in Jive, Elmer Fudd, Redneck and some others. Here is the Rose Elmer Fudd style.

Some say wove, it is a wivew
Dat dwowns the tendew weed
Some say wove, it is a wazow
Dat weaves youw souw to bweed
Some say wove, it is a hungew
An endwess aching need
I say wove, it is a fwowew
And you, its onwy seed

It's the heawt, afwaid of bweaking
Dat nevew weawns to dance
It's the dweam, afwaid of waking
Dat nevew takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken
Who cannot seem to give
And the souw, afwaid of dying
Dat nevew weawns to wive

When the night has been too wonewy
And the woad has been too wong
And you think that wove is onwy
Fow the wucky and the stwong
Just wemembew in the wintew
Faw beneaf the bittew snows
Wies the seed that wif the sun's wove
In the spwing becomes the wose

Oh that!! :D
Well, it's something that I do and it has been a blessing for me, so I shared it with you :o I put the name in the bible and on the alter so me and that person gets a blessing whether we end up together or not :) But for me when I do this along with my own prayer, God takes everything over and deals with it Himself! :)

But I couldn't find that prayer I wanted to send to you :( I have it in my Coptic book of the hours, but it's not online to copy it and paste it and send it to you. It is so powerful :(

So you guys say your own prayer then!! :o

Abbie, the pinto and navy beans look familiar but they go by other names here (not sure what they'd be though!) As for the pork and beans in a can, we don't have that combination. I'm not the biggest eater of beans but I like a few meals with them. I believe they should always be accompanied with meat, vegetables and herbs and spices.

ok, i know you guys have baked beans. i can't imagine there is much difference between baked beans and pork and beans, right? except pork and beans have a giant foreign object included.

not that i would eat pork and beans (or baked beans for that matter) on the basis that i prefer my vegetables without a hearty side of sugar/molasses/syrup/sugaryitems, or with random and weird looking chunks of congealed pork fat floating around.

p.s. on the other hand, i adore banana bread! sometimes i put mini chocolate chips in it...

When I find one of those, I will let you know. LOL :)

Chocolate chips in banana bread? Who would've thunk???? :)

Sorry, cannot sleep, tried to. Thoughts of my dad are flooding in. Miss him.
