Laying inside a tent right now , the moon is shining brightly through the top opening with transparent clouds around it .. There is a rainbow in them .. So cool

I was going to NOT have anything to do with any sort of birthday party... But mom HAD to go and throw me a party... ugh...
 
There is something comforting listening to the crackle of the fire burning down ... Lightning bugs are responding to the embers in the air .. Frogs are singing a harmonic melody.. the wind sounds like Gods lungs as it passes through the leaves of trees .. why do we live so complicated in the world with all this beauty ?
 
I can't help but laugh right now .. we have several tents set up around the campfire (in a circle) everyone is sleeping but me ..two black labs are among our group ( Ethel and Lucy) one sleeping outside my tent ... And snoring ..,I had no idea dogs snored .. Makes me smile .. the owls have fired up and the whippoorwills are now singing .. it sounds like a symphony .. Im so at home in nature .. Love it !!
 
Looks up at the question posed four posts ago. I have been pondering this same question each day as I watch people in the world race by day by day. The answer I have found is this...
The love of money is the root of all evil.
 
I'm usually the person that people run to if they need something or someone to talk/vent to but sometimes even I need a person like that, especially now. I could use a shoulder, an ear, even a hug.

Well then a Spiritual hug to you, to recieve that no matter what you are going through seek to hear in your new self what God says, don't worry my Son I (God) will get you through this even as it appears to not be so, trust me (God) and be patient as much as possible, I (God) see what you are going through and I (God) am delivering you as you are in this adversity you are in

God is perfect love and see God now to cast away all fear that the demons are trying to create in you, understand this as well if you have sinned seeChrist as your Advocate and walk in freedom not to continue in sin to trust God to stop it through you and if it doesn't seek why as Paul did in 1 cor. 12:7 onward seeing he needed a messenger of Satan to buffet him to keep him in humility of need for God.
Priase God for his amazing sacrifice especially the resurrection where new life reisdes for you to you by God as a gift to you
 
I can't help but be envious (in a good way @ Michelle's) night. I had an amazing night as well,but in a different sense. I would have loved to combine the two. I was speaking to someone I care for deeply last night & we touched on the fact that we as humans so totally complicate love. Why do we make it so twisted? Our fears,our un renewed minds,our pride? Jesus didn't make it complicated. Plain & simple. Love One Another as I have Loved YOU!
It's clear that all we need is love. Once we've accepted the love that only God can bring that fills up fully,then any other love we get from those around us is like "bonus" love. If we don't continually pour out & express that love to those around us then how can we be trusted with more? Every day we're given,we're given that choice...to hold on to the past,either good or bad,or move forward with what God has for us. If we are silent & open to Him...he will show us things we never could imagine...all we have to do is say "Yes Lord,I'm not going to fight you today...not my will but your's be done." I woke up today feeling like I've been given a second chance that I don't deserve. There are so many uncertainties in my life right now & I am not sure where God is leading me,but I'm not scared. God's got things in hand,I just need to keep my eyes on him. He's never failed me yet & I don't see as to why he'd start now. :)

I work in a high end retail shop at a high end resort, so I meet all kinds of people who have a lot of money.
One of them said to me after he saw that his purchase was over $300, "money is king", and turned to his wife and she said it too.
So I just stood there with my eyes down and a discouraged face,..
 
My devotional reading has brought me to the book of Zechariah. When I got to verse 1:8 and realized what the book is like I said to myself, "This is one of those trippy books!"
 
I miss my childhood and everything that came with it; excitement, passion, opportunity, simplicity, sunshine, real friendship, malleability, joy, fun. Most of all I miss the innocence.

Now I live with guilt, with fear, with anxiety, worry, stress, nervousness and a mask that I've worn for so long I don't know how to remove it.

I miss being in love with my best friend at the age of four when I didn't even know how to describe love or what it was, before anything got put into boxes and sorted into definitions and the life got sucked out of it all.

I miss my only desire being how I could make people, especially her, happy. I miss being free and uninhibited.
 
I just woke up from a little mini-nap. Ugh! Makes not to self,never take mini-nap again. I had a horrible dream & I rarely dream,and if I do dream more than I realize,then I normally don't remember them. This one I remember. It made me very upset & sad when I woke up. For a few seconds I had to make myself realize it wasn't real. Why when we dream sometimes when we wake up it emotionally feels real? I hate emotions. LOL
 
I'm so blessed to wake up with my little angel letting me know she's still there. She's definitely a dream come true. I can't wait to hold her in my arms, to kiss her goodnight, to love her everyday. I'm one excited (yet nervous) mommy.
 
Has anyone seen the Advice Mallard meme? There's a variation of it which is a slightly redder color (which due to my colorblindness I can barely tell the difference) which gives out bad advice. I think we need one which says:

"When posting on CC, only post a verse from Scripture. Everyone will understand exactly what your intent is."
