haha naaah you're fine I was laughin' over here too. :) It's hard to offend me, unless you're saying I'm too young to know anything about anything in life. :p I knew you weren't serious, so it didn't really make me go ":O OFFENDEDDDD!" :p
 
I spent a long time at the library this morning taking my time and browsing. It was nice not to have to rush. I saw a little girl and her mom there. My kids are growing up so fast. They read and write and have BFFS now. Soon they'll be on summer break, they'll fight and drive me nuts but I'm glad I get to spend more time with them.
 
OK, hard to be here, right now, away from the man cave , but, miladies, we men must sacrifice when we must and total isolation in the cave is probably not good, oh, my, PTL! all that soda, chips, muffins (creme ones LIGHTupthesky brought. Mighty!) The car we get to peruse outside that seatbelted, who started the thread, brought over, we had deer for lunch and who knows what we will be 'game' to eat for dinner, but, yeah, I missed you guys so over here but the sports, the fishin, the huntin' talking and the---OH, SORRY, gotta go, seatbelted's serving up some mean pie now, MINCEMEAT !TWO big pies, only four of us in there now, so that's like FOUR slices each, suhhhh-weeeet !!! :D

I am now imagining a 25 year old lil_christian kicking in the doors of any man cave that said "No Women Allowed"...hair tied back in a ponytail....Converse Chuck Taylor pink hightops...leather jacket...an Andy Worhol - esque t-shirt with an image of a crown of thorns on it reading "WON BY ONE" ....faded jeans with a rip in one knee...in one hand a black leather bible with a bright pink neon cross branded into the leather...and in the other hand a bag of Doritos! A steely gaze in her eyes..."Ok boys,let's do this!" LOL
 
Had an awesome time at gig earlier today - a "meet the orchestra" field trip event for school kids. It was interactive; some of the music selections were designed for them to sing along to and play their recorders to. At one point, the kids even got to decide which section of the orchestra played the melody and which had the accompaniment figure. We gave two shows.

Incredible fun! ;)
 
I thought it would be different, but it was not. It's like no time has passed at all. Nothing has changed, except my mind. :) When it's right, it's right. :)
 
aaaannd the guy's forum has now been invaded. haha, well, at least they were able to get to 2 pages without it being infected by 'girl cooties.'

Mine eyes have seen the coming of the pens
fuzzy wuzzy
oh but they wasn't a bear
feathers of the pinkest hue
reaching out in directions so displaced
I often wondered if this could really be the one pen to rule them all
soft crazy feathers
dancing & tickling the writers hand
as she playfully pretends to be doing her homework
sitting in CC imagining how life will be gluten free
free of itchy wool sweaters
free of boy cooties
free of the bonds that hold one prisoner to high school rabble rousing
beneath the afternoon suns of a thousand summers
These pesky feathered pens & smooshy yellow beaks
that haunt my dreams
I only want to get a better grade with you
I only want to ponder the sciences whilst I nibble at your...pfft.cough...ack..
scratch that...your feathers they doth vex me
yet I am a slave to the pinkest most wonderful color of all
like a bowl of fruity pebbles without end...bottomless
I will not question the reasons why I am here any longer
nor will I keep my love of your feathery delight from my friends

And, that's what they are, feather fuzzy pens. Yeah, from a distance, just a weird picture, but, cool, in it's own transient way, except the pink !!! :D

Green, not sure of 'quel dommage' but it does sound cool , we should have a sign like that outside the man cave, as long as it's not gonna attract the women :D

my niece is so funny, she was talking with my mom, she's 4 now, by the way, and, she was talking with my mom asked her who was weird. Guess what? "Uncle was weird.' Anyway, I thought i would share that with you all. She's the cutest thing.

My dog wants to play so I better go play with my dog. She starts grumbling at me when its time to go play roll the tire. She's amazing, I go roll that thing and it's moving quick-zippety and she can catch up to it just enough to hit it with a paw, or, even her flank side, to keep it from going in a direction she doesn't want it to go. At first, I didn't notice this feat, but, now I do, she is funny too, sometimes when I throw it and it gets by her she just starts growling as she chases after it, typically the growl comes right BEFORE she gets to it :)

Some nights, being single is 100% okay. Then some nights, I would think it'd be nice to have someone. But I'm guessing there won't be a guy in my future for a while if I'm going into music ministry...haven't heard much from God in the relationship department. Maybe I don't need to because I already know the answer.

My dog just loves to play and play and play, if she could, she would play all day. The strange things is, as I've said before, she can also sleep all night and well into the morning, like 15 hours straight without needing as much as a bathroom break, and, she even slurps water in her bowl and gets right back up on the bed and goes back to sleep, or, just being lazy.

Hmmm, maybe, I should pay more attention to her eyes, to see if she is REALLY sleeping or just laying there. But, no, she is sleeping a lot of that time, I hear her snores and her soft, quiet 'woof-woofs' and little 'grrrrr's' as she dreams, usually in the morning, I hear, I guess that's because I'm asleep the other time , or, working on things in the morning early, I'm not an early riser but God has me now doing stuff early work right now. Day-trading, of all things ! I went to school for journalism, but I've always been fairly quick with numbers and economics stuff interests me now, so, yeah, that's it. Pray for me, just a little prayer , y'all, I want to be doing His will :)
I tell God that this is not really me but He's telling me to stick with it, I think, for now. It's a blessing, it's fun to 'ping' stocks at market timing daily :D
