I think I'll try to divert the hostile people into positive thoughts. Food is a positive thing, mostly. When you don't try to serve me nettles fried in butter or rice pudding mixed with liver or fish or seafood on pizza. Both me and my dogs like meatloaf, so we have a quite peaceful household here.
Speaking of dogs. I have now two dogs in the house, and it is fun to see how the dynamics have changed. My home is now a more happy place, and I am grateful for that. Right now the dogs are kind of escaping or picking a fight with the vacuum robot. That means Plato is seeking refuge in the sofa, but Memo is trying to show his teddy to it and see if it wants to play. I guess he ends up in the sofa, too.

Well I got the chili made for tomorrow night. I mixed it all up in a big pot, then I divided it into the two smaller crock pots... and started adding "Blasting Sauce" hot sauce to one of the pots. And some "Clearly Hot" hot sauce. And some cracked red pepper. If nobody else eats the hot chili, my uncle Fred will love it.
I, on the other hand, am allergic to pain. After I got through winding up the hot chili I licked the thin layer of liquid from the spatula I used to stir it. My tongue is STILL a bit warm.
