Yesterday was busy. I had to take my Dad in for some lab work and when we arrived, we found out he also had to see the Doctor later in the morning.

We went to McDonalds to get him some breakfast...because he likes the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit sandwiches. Had some time to burn before his meeting with the Doctor, so we went by the local car dealership to look for something easier for him to get in and out of than the 2005 Ram 2500 4WD truck we were in.

We found something he liked and took it for a test drive.

So yesterday, which started out for "just a lab appointment", ended up with us looking at vehicles and trading off his BIG truck for a 2014 Buick Encore.

Oh, and the Ram truck was in such good condition that the trade-in value was more than the asking price of the Buick, so he got a check from the dealership for over $1000. That kind of stuff never happens.

Busy day yesterday.
 
Today was a major disappointment all around. All the people I was expecting to call in "sick" showed up to work, on time, on the bounce and by the numbers.

I mean really! How am I supposed to get overtime like this? >.>

Go work with SillyChick. She's about to start her mandatory overtime period. Six days a week and staying late five of them. For the next few months. You'll have overtime then.
 
Coolllll I finally got to log in to the Christian chat rooms on my phone thanks to a hint from a friend,it was interesting.
 
I'm feeling quite sick to where my breathing isn't so good,but I hope some sleep will help goodnight everyone!
 
Best typo I've seen in a long time:

Job ad that stated under desired experience.... suing Microsoft Word, outlook, and excel (I'm pretty sure that it was supposed to be using).

On the other hand it could be a desperate cry for help. Please, anybody who can actually type something without typos, we need you!
 
Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
 
Blame shifter!

My original response was "men stop using their brains when women are in the room so women can keep up". But I figured someone would get butthurt and start a gender war. =P
