Trust me, you don't. Even as ducklings they don't have much personality. When they grow up ducks are not good pets. They smell and they are usually not very sociable.

One thing I agree is that they don't make good pets because... they are NOT pets but more like friends.

The Lord has been teaching me allot of things in my life recently, it's really been quite fantastic. At the same time it's been quite difficult to deal with all the issues and problems that have arisen from these realizations. It's been a challenge dealing with so many things, and on top of that I have been away from home for a good portion of time. Through this time I have made some really good friends, who along with some family members have helped me survive. All I can say is that I have grown to know Christ better and am still running after Him.

A week or so ago, I made the decision to take a break from CC as I was spending to much time here, and not enough time with God. The last week I have spent more time with God and He has really started to change my heart in more ways than I knew how. I won't list them here, but to anyone doubting the ability of God to change a heart, I will be the first to testify that the Lord has power to change hearts. :D I've never read my Bible or prayed as much as I have in the past week, and I can understand why everyone has been telling me to do that when I ask them about something. The Holy Spirit has been touching my heart and I just feel so blessed to be learning and growing in Christ.

I'm still forming habits and I think it's best for me to stay away from CC for a while longer while I continue to solidify my relationship with God. I'll be back, not sure when at this point but if you want to stay in touch, send me a PM. :)

Okay, but be sure to come back soon so I can start bugging you again. :p

Seriously, though. You'll be missed. But God is definitely first.

Turned 31 many days ago. Life didn't end.

If people in your life are giving you grief about it, then get better people in your life.
I think she meant more about the marriage thing or should I say the M word?

Anyway... enjoy your single lief while you can, Arwen. Every married man I've known seemed to only have bad things to say about being married.

Don't you find that things become more limited to you as you get older though? Birthdays never use to be this emotionally hard on me. Some opportunities are slipping away.

Wow. That's depressing. Marriage is said to be hard work, yes, but I've heard many great things from married men.

When it comes to siring children, yes. Or playing pro-sports.

Everything else, there's plenty of time. Life expectancy is well past 70 in this day and age. Heck, my grandmother is just now getting to the point where we think this is it, and she's 93. Plenty of time.

Sorry, excuse my aftermidnight venting of sadness. It always this time of the year that its the hardest, i'll get over it

I just ran across a note in grandparents' bible. It says... The ''goel" -- Jesus... Then flipped through the incomplete bible to see much reflective writing. I love that !
