If we have put our hope and trust in Jesus, we have become his disciple. It is part of our new identity. A disciple is not some special class of Christian, and discipleship is not a series of topics or classes that we walk through. A disciple is someone who has reoriented his or her life around another to become, in essence, who that person is. At the heart of being a disciple of Jesus is a desire to become one with Jesus and be transformed into his likeness. If you were honest, would you say that more than anything else right now you are pursuing being a disciple of Jesus––having your heart and character transformed into the likeness of Jesus in every area of your life? Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you deeper into the life of Christ and to show you who you are to disciple to walk in the ways of Jesus.

I have been so busy the past couple of months with my Mother's illness and then her passing, the funeral, and now trying to deal with all the legal matters as well as trying to get her house emptied out. I think I am about ready to disappear into the hills for a week or two. I do not want to see or hear another human being for a while.

i'm so sorry to hear about your mom, and offer my deepest condolences. :(

i do hope you get the chance to disappear and pray the Lord refreshes you in it.

The first time I met Tourist face to face I was so sad when he left.... I never wanted him to leave.... I asked God if I could keep him and He said yes.... He only leaves for work now, but he comes right back home.....I like it that way....
