Good morning Multilingual. How you been doin? God's blessing on your final exam and congrats!
I have been so busy the past couple of months with my Mother's illness and then her passing, the funeral, and now trying to deal with all the legal matters as well as trying to get her house emptied out. I think I am about ready to disappear into the hills for a week or two. I do not want to see or hear another human being for a while.
Two years last February when my Mom passed............I can surely identify with all of this. Went for a long drive, then fishing, then just closed the door. Two years and counting, and the empty place in my heart is very much still there, but with God's love I get through because I know she is with Him.
God bless you and your family.

Here is an interesting fact that came from wikipedia ..don't know of it's accuracy though..
Across the U.S. border to the south, the Adirondack Mountains in New York State, though sometimes mistakenly included with the Appalachian Mountains, are actually an extension of the Laurentians
I've skied Mount Tremblant and Bromont...( not sure of the spelling here? )
really?
didn't know that...I think they are higher though?
Well..aren't they "uphill" from the US..so that would make them higher..
well me too of course...Tremblant quite a few times...my brother and I had a place just before the park...the Lanaudiere region...which is also a higher elevation...Lac Oureau...couple of really nice mountains to ski there as well
St Donat de Montcalm is right in between Lac Oureau and Lac Archambault..I loved that area ... thought I might live there one day, but things change...
I know....it's beautiful country there. I'm sure you miss it ...your hubby must be home now or coming home soon?...
See responses above in green....
haha re the uphill....going south, must be all downhill, eh?
re Mr husband...he is leaving tomorrow and should be here for the week-end!! I told him I was going to let him look after the dogs for 2 weeks while I go on a two week vacation by myself...for the peace and quiet
for some reason, that did not appeal to him...just kidding of course...but excited he is coming home!
That's great news! Enjoy your time with him. He owes you big time!!..
