how's your sister doing today, sweetheart?
What about the afternoon crew?!
Why thank you.
I haven't heard anything so far. I should know in a couple hours, I don't have cell service at school. I appreciate you wondering about her. I encouraged her to schedule a doctor's appointment to figure out what is going on because the brain is something you don't mess with.

our son had a seizure disorder after his major brain bleed when he was 19.

speaking of relaxing, Melita....
Yesterday I was reasoning with the Holy Spirit about the Psalm, “Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Regarding some prayers & concerns I have, I’m seeing more and more the authority and assurance we have in Jesus. It’s God’s good pleasure to work things out in our life, ya know? And it delights Him when we see Him as a Father who truly loves us and meets our needs.
So I says, “Ok Lord, the needs are met already in You. You make all things beautiful in their appropriate time. But I’m gonna keep coming to You and reminding You until Your faith is mine.” I already know in my spirit that I possess the faith of Jesus Christ. I’m just struggling and working it out in my mind.
Even so, I know there’s a better way. It’s called resting in Him.
“Martha, Martha,” Jesus said. “You’re worried about too many things. Mary has chosen the better thing, and it won’t be taken from her.”
what was the better thing? Mary was sitting at the Lord’s feet listening to Him.

Haha, I remember. After I converted to Christianity, I found myself most Friday nights for several years down at a Pentecostal Friday night prayer service at a Victory Outreach where I used to live in Los Angeles County. Some sat, some walked around praying, some sat in their cars blasting whatever type of Christian music appealed to them from Christian rap to Christian rock to gospel to whatever. It was non-conventional in that sense. Just pouring out the problems, requests, thanks, etc... to God for about two hours and saying hi to other Christians every Friday night.
this may be the evening crew.![]()
