Royals' game this afternoon ... first pitch in 13 minutes on FoxSportsKC. I even cleared my calendar today between 1-4, told the cops I don't want to hear about jumpers or officer-involved shootings.

All cleaning is done... sitting down and eating a nice peaceful lunch, and enjoying my favorite tv show on Netflix.

it's bluebonnet season!!!! ^_^ it makes me so happy to see them as i drive. well, any wildflower i see makes me smile

My son was driving us to church last week and remarked how the bluebonnets were like a sea of blue in the fields. So I started singing the old jingle from the Bluebonnet Margarine commercial each time I spotted them along the road. It cracked him up. LOL!!

Tomorrow my BFF and I will be taking a ride to the countryside. The snow is starting to melt nicely! That means Maple Syrup time!! They have a pancake house on the countryside called Gilbertson's, and the church folk are all leaving from the church at 5pm on the bus to enjoy a nice pancake/sausage/bacon/maple syrup supper tomorrow night, it takes about an hour to get there. My BFF and I are going to meet them there at 6pm. So excited!! My Friday nights USED to consist of partying and drinking, but now Friday nights are spent chilling and in prayer! That's a party in itself!! So proud of me!!!!!!

Oh, don't I know it! ...LOL I wouldn't eat margarine if you paid me. It's equivalent to eating melted plastic. It's toxic! Yeah, give me farm fresh butter any day. YUMMY!

Haha, I remember. After I converted to Christianity, I found myself most Friday nights for several years down at a Pentecostal Friday night prayer service at a Victory Outreach where I used to live in Los Angeles County. Some sat, some walked around praying, some sat in their cars blasting whatever type of Christian music appealed to them from Christian rap to Christian rock to gospel to whatever. It was non-conventional in that sense. Just pouring out the problems, requests, thanks, etc... to God for about two hours and saying hi to other Christians every Friday night.

I was planning on eating a peaceful lunch but I ended up forgetting my sandwich at home. I did have a cheese stick though.

I do that also. I drink lot a pot of coffee and then blast the stereo. Some of us old bachelors like to live in clean spaces and the way that happens is we clean them lol .
