I see you all like reading. i just started reading a book by a Christian author.....it is a mystery where the guy leaves chess pieces at the scene of the crime.....I think I have a new favorite author....lol
 
Having a slow weekend at the office... and that can only mean one thing... the police is not doind its job... :(

Where are the bad guys being locked up????

District attorney's office...

Having a slow, sloooooow weekend... only homicides comming in... no drug busts, no violence against women, no thefts... :(

Not that I want it to happen... but I know it is happening... and if I got nothing here, it means the police is not making arrests... :(

Reminds me of something my cousin said. She works as a dispatcher for the police department, and I asked how she likes it so far. She said. "I love it. People die all the time. It gets so busy." I wasn't sure how to respond to that.

I don't like it that people die or get mugged, or beaten, or traffic drugs...

But I know it IS happening... and if I got nothing, then that means that who's supposed to be aprehending these people are not doing so... and it is frustrating...

Violence has been escalating these past few years... it drives me nuts that people now decided to do nothing and let things run havoc...

Arfs... sorry... just mad and really frustrated here... :(

Well, thank you.
I am all ready for school except for my textbooks which I looked up the cost last night and two of them are first edition books so eBay and amazon are not cheaper and each book averages to be about $200, but God is my provider and he gave me that grant to pay for them and I can't get them until the second week of September.

I am looking forward to starting back and I will be a busy bee working, going to school, doing household chores, and spending time with friends and family. I love being busy!!!!!
 
If I lived in middle earth, I'd want to be an elf.

But I don't think I'm tall enough :( and they all look lean. I haven't seen a chubby elf on lotr lol

Praise God, he does provide our needs. It looks like you will
be super busy. It makes time fly by when you're busy, I know
that. Sitting around killing time, is one of the slowest things a
person can do.
I'm glad things are working out for you, keep God first, and He
will see you through. But, I don't have to say that to you, you
already know it.

Thanks for the encouragement, Frank. It would be wonderful to have time fly because it is my last year and I will walk away with a college degree. God just has blessed me with a gift in my major that I never expected and so far I am excelling in it. My dad always tells me that I am smarter than he is and I always respond with "no I am not". My parents never went to college and I told them the day I registered for classes that on my graduation a part of them is graduating because if it wasn't for their love and support I wouldn't have the drive to do the best I can.
 
Pain is No fun! Especially when it never seems to end. Don't know ratheor to scream or cry. Guess will just try to continue to laugh thru it...

pray for you also, prayer time will be shortly. I will request

before prayer. So, rest assured, people will pray for you, if

Your'e not a downer, you're one of Gods children. He will
