Okay, I've thought up 6 fictional examples now.
3 of each. And after thinking it over, I agree with Ritter. Neither sound good.
Right thing for wrong reason = Going to college...but only to please other people, not because you want to.
Wrong thing for right reason = Death sentence for dangerous criminals?
Right thing for wrong reason = A rookie authority figure telling someone off and being a jerk at someone for breaking some rule, wrong reason being they are power hungry and egotistical and they get a rush from being bossy.
Wrong thing for right reason = Yelling at girl scouts "NO I DON'T WANT ANY COOKIES! GO AWAY!" because you are diabetic and your doc told you to avoid sweets.
Right thing for wrong reason = Doing nice charitable things for others, but only out of guilt, or to make yourself look good. Not cause you care.
Wrong thing for right reason = Being overly strict of your child and stunting their development in the real world. Reason being because you love them and don't want anything bad to happen to them.
