It’s says one must also cease from their works on the seventh day which is Sabbath-keeping. Two rests, not one.
Actually, I am talking about something greater. A life where you cease from all your works, and only do the will of your father. This is for all days for all time. You want to regulate this to one day. God is asking you to do it as a lifestyle.
if God has given Himself, we need no more sacrifices. do you agree with this?
My apologies for making it seem as though I'm repeating things, but you actually have much to learn about the Sabbath. You focus more on the letter of the law and miss what God is actually teaching and so while it appears you are keeping the Sabbath outwardly, you aren't actually keeping it as God would have us to. Without knowing the significance of the Sabbath and what God's intentions are in requiring it, you cannot keep the Sabbath.

God's Word is not "one continuous book". The Protestant Bible is composed of sixty-six scrolls, written over thousands of years by different Jewish men (with one exception: Luke). Just because they are bound together under one cover doesn't mean a thing.
And your quoting Paul's letter to Timothy is just another way of saying the above.
BTW, because the Bible has been chopped up into separate verses, it is a common error to write quotes without considering what was actually. This is what Paul wrote to Timothy: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Jesus taught for us to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand, so I have not taken his testimony out of Scripture.
In Hebrews 3:18-19, they did not enter into God's rest because of their unbelief/disobedience, and in Exodus 20:13, it specifically mentions that they greatly profaned God's Sabbaths. In Hebrews 4:9-11, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, we should rest from our work as God rested from His, and we should strive to enter into that rest so that no one may fall away by the same sort of disobedience, so he was not speaking in contrast with the weekly Sabbath, and you trying to use entering into God's rest to justify the same sort of disobedience is the opposite of what was being said.
Nah, it is ceasing to work for one's salvation, which Jesus procured as the spotless Lamb of God with His sinless
life and ultimate sacrifice upon the cross, the purpose which was the very reason for His incarnation.
That means attempting to gain salvation by means of law-keeping is null and void.
In fact, Jesus cursed the temple system because it was unfruitful.
Nobody is righteous under the law but Him.
We put on HIS righteousness.
Sure it is. It is one book, written by the Holy Spirit through His prophets and disciples as a testimony of Jesus Christ.

I think we do well to meditate an both aspects. We need to take time off from business to contemplate on the Spiritual and Everlasting. We were not created to just be wind-up bunnies. We need to look up to the Great Energizer in the sky!

The Spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Christ - the scripture all testifies of Him. in it is life because knowledge of Him is life.

Yes. Indeed, all of Scripture testifies about how to know Jesus, which includes the Mosaic Law, and knowing God and Jesus is eternal life (John 17:3). In Exodus 33:13, Moses wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him to walk in His way that he and Israel might know Him, and in Matthew 7:23, Jesus said that he would tell those who are workers of lawlessness to depart form him because he never knew them, so knowing God and Jesus is the goal of the Mosaic Law.
Wrong again. The law was added due to transgression. Galatians 3:19 ~ Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of the seed to whom the promise referred. It was administered through angels by a mediator. Galatians 3:22-24 But the Scripture pronounces all things confined by sin, so that by faith in Jesus Christ the promise might be given to those who believe. 23 Before this faith came, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. 24 So the law became our guardian to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.
