So-called “satellite” phones have been found to have reception problems in countries like Kazakhstan with very few cell phone towers. If the Earth were a ball with 20,000+ satellites surrounding, such blackouts should not regularly occur in any rural countryside areas.
So-called “satellite” TV dishes are almost always positioned at a 45 degree angle towards the nearest ground-based repeater tower. If TV antennae were actually picking up signals from satellites 100+ miles in space, most TV dishes should be pointing more or less straight up to the sky. The fact that “satellite” dishes are never pointing straight up and almost always positioned at a 45 degree angle proves they are picking up ground-based tower signals and not “outer-space satellites.”
Your calculation is assuming a circumference of 75,000 miles along the ice wall latitude - and, that Australia is positioned along the same latitude.

In this context, what is a 'foundation' and how does it perform its function with regard to the earth?
What premise? This thread is about a Flat Earth Proposition. And, you are the one rejecting that...
That is all fine and good - only, I need not try to prove anything for/to myself - I believe the Bible shows us in no uncertain terms that the earth is not a spinning ball flying through space - and, 'flat' is the "default" observation.
Which earth are you referring unto? You have the first 'earth' being the physical body (breadth, and length, and depth, and height) of space which was created in the beginning or the second 'Earth' being the the celestial body of mass that abodes in the expanse of space upon which we dwell.
Foundation in the literal sense is the supporting base upon which a object is built.
The first earth, or the physical body of space we call the universe is hung upon nothing, which does not mean that it is nothing, it is nothing that exists in this universe. You could say it is light, but it is light that has not been seen, nor can be seen.
It can only be perceived by the substance that the supports the celestial bodies of mass that exist within this universe. Which again is nothing, in the sense it is not is not a form of mass, which some still consider to be nothing since anything that isn't mass doesn't exist in their opinion, yet it can been perceived by the presence of mass.
Another example of the kind of gobbledygook that people invent to keep themselves from having to seriously consider the real truth...
There are two "earths" in the Bible - the one we live on now and the [eternal] 'New Earth' after this one has been thrown into the lake of fire.
There has never been - nor will there ever be - a "space/universe" earth as you describe in the quote above.
Yet you refuse to make the necessary examinations for yourself that will completely and irrefutably disprove your North-centric flat Earth model.

You would do well to escape to the far Southern Hemisphere for Christmas and see for yourself.
If I were to go and make careful observations - and [somehow] show you that the real truth was something other than what you [think you] see in the pictures - you would reject it.
So then - I am perfectly happy with you believing whatever you want to believe - I am quite certain that it will change when God shows you the truth - at which point, you will not be able to deny it.
The majority reason that I believe what I believe is because of what the Bible says about the earth - with personal observation added over-and-above that.
Believing what the Bible says is first - the personal observation is second.
Please do not ever forget this. If you want to change my mind, you must show me absolutely-beyond-a-shadow-of-a-doubt just-exactly-and-precisely how scripture actually "does not mean what it says" in the verses/passages where it describes [something] about the earth.
You and some others seem to dismiss out-of-hand what the Bible says about the earth - believing and trusting the opinions of man more than the Bible.
I am more readily inclined to question the opinions of man (even - and, especially - 'authority') rather than the Word of God.
I know you are going to say that it is a matter of interpretation. And, indeed - so it is - I most certainly agree.
However, I believe my interpretation to be correct and must stick to what I believe the Bible says.
Why do you think that you are at the center of his universe?
