When Peter preached to Cornelius the Holy Ghost fell upon him while Peter was preaching, Jesus saves.
Simon the magician was baptised.
"You fixed the sea, Lord, drowning boastful Pharao with his chariots; you saved the people dry-shod and led them to the mountain of sanctification, as they cried: Let us sing a song of victory to our God, the mighty in wars."

We get baptised to show that we have been saved, we don't get baptised to be saved.Even under the OT there were those doubters...so is it under the NT.
Jesus is the author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him. (Heb. 5:9) In Mark 16, Jesus said he who believes and is baptized shall be saved. He did not say be saved by believing and afterward get baptized. Notice as well that the word says everyone is to submit to water baptism for the remission of sin. (Acts 2:38) And Ananias told Paul how to accomplish the washing away of his sin. He instructed Paul to be water baptized calling on the name of the Lord. (Acts 22:16)We get baptised to show that we have been saved, we don't get baptised to be saved.
This is a very subtle form of idolatry to trust in the ordinance rather than Christ who is our only salvation. Like when the Jews made an idol of Gideon's ephod.

Wrong.
God doesn't depend on the physical world to establish the Spiritual World. Well, that's my human opinion.
Water baptism is a reflection of Colossians 2:9-15, the Circumcision of Christ.
I would add that the physical world is a reflection of the Spiritual World.
You are just wrong per scripture. Why do you do that?
Further, the physical world has ...not a smither...representation of the spiritual world.
You want [me] to answer that?
Yes...answer that. But, suggest you study scriptures first. Suggest you start start with Acts 2;38.
That is quite a collection of beautiful artwork.![]()
If you are saying that baptism saves then it is you who are bickering ... Jesus saved but He didn't baptise, Paul saved but he was not sent to baptise.Wrong.
Stick with the Bible (I recommend 1611 KJV) and we can all make progress for Christ as witnesses on this earth...rather than bickering.
It might seem a small point to you but I think it is significant that the full verse of what Jesus says in Mark. 16 is "... he who believes and is baptised shall be saved but he who believeth not is condemned already"Jesus is the author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him. (Heb. 5:9) In Mark 16, Jesus said he who believes and is baptized shall be saved. He did not say be saved by believing and afterward get baptized. Sadly, many are deceived by what is taught concerning water baptism in many churches today. The biblical record is clear. The way one is birthed into the New Testament church remains the same. Obedience to God's command to repent, be water baptized in the name of Jesus, and receive the Holy Ghost began on the Day of Pentecost as Jesus said it would in Luke 24:46-47. Again, He said it would BEGIN there, indicating it would go on...
If you are saying that baptism saves then it is you who are bickering ... Jesus saved but He didn't baptize, Paul saved but he was not sent to baptize.
