It is more context than you provide!
I really think you are not aware of what the meaning of "context".

This should help:

Context

[kon-tekst]
Phonetic (Standard)IPA
noun
  1. the parts of a written or spoken statement that precede or follow a specific word or passage, usually influencing its meaning or effect.
You have misinterpreted my remark because you took it out of context.
  2. the set of circumstances or facts that surround a particular event, situation, etc.

The context of Eph. 2:8-10 is in the book of Ephesians.

Not your personal understanding of some verses in Romans.

The context for any part of GW is the whole of GW,
and the correct understanding of GW is unified,
which is why my life's goal has been harmonizing GW,
and my "personal" understanding is based on all of GW,
including what is revealed via GW as creation.

If the context of everything in the Bible is the whole Bible then there is no context in the Bible.

Nothing is safe in the Bible if everything is context to every other thing in the Bible.

Did you really think this out?

Yep, but I know enough Bible to be fine tuning at this point,
and everything I have learned is available to all on our website.

There you go, bearing false witness again. What you've presented is a false dichotomy. It's not what I believe nor what she believes.
False dichotomy? Fair enough.

So why don't you or Magenta simply explain your understanding of freewill.

"Fine tuning"?

How about simply allowing the Bible to mean what it says without your fine tuning?

Your words reek of arrogance.

Pay attention to Biblical context, not denominational "Theology".
Certain folks are more interested in accommodating their biased church doctrine at all costs than they are in Biblical context, along with properly harmonizing scripture with scripture before reaching their conclusion on doctrine. (2 Timothy 2:15)

Salvation by grace through faith, not works (Ephesians 2:8,9) is crystal clear yet these certain folks remain determined to "shoehorn" works "into" salvation through faith, not works anyway, because they are trusting in works for salvation and not in Jesus Christ alone.

Isn't Gods word unsearchable? What more does it teach than to avoid doing what's wrong for someones own soul?
The argument of salvation by faith or works is like arguing whether a drawer should be opened or closed.
It serves its purpose in both states, and there's life in the act of opening or closing it. One who prays to God and calls on his name will be given works to accomidate his love for faith.

Many things in theology are taken to extremes and the actual biblical instruction gets lost.

Self-exemption presented as discernment. No mirrors in the house.

My words are obviously true, because if everything in the Bible were so clear as to be undebatable you would have nothing to say.

Or else they rely on being elect so they don’t have to do anything.

I was born and raised in a church that taught salvation by works and I've had debates with numerous works-salvationists over the years on various Christian forum sites, so I understand this very well.

With respect, I've pointed you to the logical fallacies you tend to put forth in arguing your theology. In this statement you’ve put forth at least 4 more: assuming past exposure guarantees present accuracy; using personal history to deflect critique; shifting the topic from logic to biography, and; treating past debates as proof of correctness.

None of these address the actual issue of exempting yourself from your critique of certain folks' doctrines.
