Ahhhh, Thank You!!

We are all born into this world as natural men/women with no spiritual discernment. How then do we get born again spiritually, you might ask. That is explained in Eph 2, when we were yet dead spiritually God quickened us to a new spiritual life.I am only speaking about the kind of FAITH it takes to believe in God, to believe you need to be saved, to repent, to accept Yeshua into your life, to believe you are SAVED!!
That is the ONLY kind of FAITH that I actually care about and speak about![]()
I will follow that up by asking both of you to interpret John 6:38.Ahhhh, Thank You!!
The faith you are speaking of comes only from the indwelling Holy Spirit after you have been born again and given a new heart. Faith is a fruit of the holy Spirit (Gal 5). The natural man cannot have the kind of faith that would make him believe in spiritual things.
I will follow that up by asking both of you to interpret John 6:38.
Sorry but you are giving the natural man described in 1 Cor 2:14 abilities that he does not have. The natural man will not feel guilty of breaking a spiritual law that he cannot discern. Have you read 1 Cor 2:14? The Jews, when they heard Peter preaching that they were responsible for Christ's death, were "PRICKED" in their hearts, which showed their hearts to feel guilt of breaking a spiritual law unlike those that stoned Steven to death because they were cut to the heart. You see the different response of a person born of the Spirit in the new birth, verses, the reaction of the natural man who had not been born again and felt no guilt.I will go as far, that when we were SINNERS lost without Hope and God's Promise, the Holy Spirit revealed to us the need to accept God.
Many did not understand what was happening and ultimately refused God's attempt. But to those who thought to themselves, why do I feel shame, why do I feel guilt, why do I feel worthlessness, why do I feel like I am lost...WE then stepped out in FAITH by our Actions, accepting and believing there is a God and a need for God's forgiveness.
What I am saying then specifically, we as Lost Sinners not believing in an invisible God, were made aware there is a God when we suddenly felt Shame, Guilt, Worthlessness, and Lost. And when we related to feeling how we did to being in the presence of a Pure and Holy God. We finally BELIEVED!! From there, we allowed God to break us in order to Save us!!
But how we believed by how we were feeling and then acted upon it, was the key Act of Faith, that allowed God to literally be invited into our hearts. From there, everything became about Faith, Belief, and Trust in God!!
You are avoiding the point of verse 38. Christ only died for those that the Father gave to him, and he would raise them all (that he died for) up at the last day. Had he died for all mankind then he would raise all mankind up to heaven at the last day. He only raises those up that he died for and the rest are doomed for hell.38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Yeshua obeying Yahweh is my conclusion!!
After all, Yeshua in Hebrew literally means = Yahweh's Salvation!!

So I have a serious mental problem because I see the meaning of the scriptures differently than you? The majority of the so called God fearing world in the day of Jesus's days on earth accused him of being mentally ill to. Feather that.Let's be real here:
WE ALL HERE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE A SERIOUS MENTAL PROBLEM THAT CAUSES YOU TO TRY AND MANIPULATE US.
And why do you try to manipulate us?
Because how you view things, are the VERY OPPOSITE of what a NORMAL MIND would conclude to.
So, WE WILL NEVER see it the SAME, EVER!!
And for that, I THANK GOD!!
Did Jesus not say that he made his doctrine a mystery to confuse the wise and prudent?ONCE AGAIN, YOUR ANSWER DOES NOT REFLECT WHAT THIS VERSE IS SAYING HERE!!
You have given an answer to another VERSE for this VERSE.
Classic Narcissist Manipulation Tactic!!
You are like talking to a DOG's BUTT who is try to chase its own tail!!
You ARE IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with because OUR MINDS ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT IN HOW THEY FUNCTION!!
So ultimately, what you conclude to, is not what 90% of the rest of humanity would conclude to!!
I did say, YOU WERE A WASTE OF TIME ABOUT 10 POSTS AGO, AND THIS IS WHY!!

Thank you. How do you interpret 1 Cor 2: 14? Does not all scripture have to harmonize to understand the doctrine that Jesus taught?I agree with every part except "no spiritual discernment". Romans 1 says that although they knew God, they did not glorify God or give thanks to Him. Man's biggest problem is not ignorance (though that is a part of it) the biggest problem, the crux, is willful rebellion as they suppress the truth in unrighteousness
I do not believe in physical or mental inability. I believe in moral inability, ie spiritual inability. That is, man left to himself is enslaved to sin. His desires for sin prevent him from desiring God, until God intervenes. It is when God intervenes that a soul comes to Jesus. No one can come to me except the Father draw Him, said Jesus.
The rest of your post I agree with. REGENERATION is entirely a work of God, not of man. He quickens us to new life, changes our hearts, and makes us new creations. IT is all done by Him.
Salvation is justification, regeneration, adoption, sanctification, preservation, and glorification. We dare not exclude ANY of these from GOD'S WORK of salvation.
I agree that God has given man a free will to make choices on how man wants to live his life here on earth, but his eternal destination is by the sovereign grace, with the help or choice of man. Cause and effect depends upon whether he is yet but a natural man, or, whether God has given him new life.Free will. There is a problem of cause and effect.
What is the cause of our behaviour, and who owns the effect.
You know when a tree is dead. Its leaves drop off, and it no longer changes.
Faith and the Holy Spirit is life within us.
If this life has gone cold, we need fire to come and bring us back.
The fire is God, and our work is our calling.
Closed doors in our hearts shut out life and shut out change. Do we really believe He
is God and He has our best needs at heart? Dwell in Christ and His word and He will dwell
in You.
We are not saved by works. We are saved by faith alone
But we must always remember that there is living faith and dead faith
What is the difference? Faith without works is dead.
When you are regenerated, your heart changes. If your heart changes, your actions will change.
This is part of salvation. This is a work of God, not man.

The only ones that will respond to spiritual things are those that are born again and have been changed from a carnal man that cannot discern spiritual things to a spiritual man with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.(Eph 2).I am a disciple, I only know what the Father has revealed through His word. He calls, we answer.
All I know is I love Him and His ways. So I will share this. The elect will respond, and that is all
I can hope for.
The question is why do some respond? I do not know, except He warms the heart of some, and
chooses, while others appear untouched. We are though talking eternity and realities which we do not
understand.
Our free will in Christ is important, because if we are co-heirs with Christ, we can then choose to exercise
love or go astray. And if we can go astray, we can fall beyond recovery, which the promises confirm, only
if we abide is their life, because this is about love conquering death, overcoming and victory and choosing
that which is life over death. Adam chose death because he thought he would get knowledge.
Christ in us must exercise trust beyond knowledge, loyalty and love beyond power and privilege.
Some think we are bound to Christ cheaply not knowing in Christ all things are made possible, but put
simply they are not worthy of the position and privilege of walking with God gives us.
The only ones that will respond to spiritual things are those that are born again and have been changed from a carnal man that cannot discern spiritual things to a spiritual man with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.(Eph 2).
