Can you give me a quick run down on what the Scofield Bible is?
KJV bible with footnotes on basically every page explaining scripture from a Judaized perspective of unbelief.
Can you give me a quick run down on what the Scofield Bible is?
Oh for heaven sake you have read Romans right?
Rom 11:25
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (RAPTURE)
THEN:
Rom 11:26 (END TIME REDEMPTION TO THE NEW COVENANT)
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 (END TIME REDEMPTION TO THE NEW COVENANT)
For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
I could not agree more.
Although, I will say even as a new believer many years back when fellow believers (dispensationalists to the extreme) were saying there was this gap in the Book of Daniel between the 69th and 70th week of 2000 years, I was very suspect, it just did not make sense to me, but I tucked it away because I trusted them.
That was a mistake.
So now you tell me the intended audience. Let me help you: JEWS who reject Him....until they RECEIVE HIM at the DOTL.I have read it, for heaven's sake.
It was written to the believers in Rome at the time, not to you or me.
There is that audience relevance again, impossible to escape.
When looking at the theology of the Apostle Paul, the definitive "hub" for the future of Israel is found in Romans 9–11.I have read it, for heaven's sake.

Oh which audience huh? Ok so which audience?I have read it, for heaven's sake.

And what does that have to do with the Redemption of the Nation Israel to glorious service in the millennium?
Here they are...in the mezzanine looking down. From heaven. Occupied with their worship of the Lord Jesus. Post rapture. But pre-trib. That starts on chapter 6.You quoted this: "
Israel will be redeemed, reconstituted, and then recommission to do their original assignment, acting as God's priests to the gentile world. And they will. This time, unfailingly, and be blessed for it. "
If a gentile is made into a king, priest, and a pillar in the temple of the Lord then what is their purpose during the millennium?

Any more questions?
[Rev 4:4, 10 KJV] 4 And round about the throne [were] four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. ...
10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
[Rev 5:8,-14 KJV]
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four [and] twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. ...
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four [and] twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
You don't understand the doctrine of the tribulation saints either? Please hit the books. This effort at constantly correcting you is getting embarrassing for me.I have to go now but here's the verse.
Revelation 20:5
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Any Israelite/gentile who has not worshipped the beast, nor his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,or in their hands
will live and reign with Christ a thousand years.
All a part of the resurrection, the first. You don't understand the doctrine of the tribulation saints either? Please hit the books. This effort at constantly correcting you is getting embarrassing for me.
[1Co 15:23-24 NKJV]
23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those [who are] Christ's at His coming.
24 Then [comes] the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.
The "Harvest" Metaphor
To Paul’s Jewish audience, the "First Resurrection" wasn't a single event but a season.
The Firstfruits: A single sheaf (Christ).
The General Harvest: The main crop (The Church).
The Gleanings: The leftover crops gathered at the very end of the season (The Tribulation Saints).
By including the Revelation 20 saints in this "order," the New Testament completes the picture: no one who belongs to Christ is left behind in the grave before the Millennial Kingdom begins.
It was based on whether they would cease sinning and no intent the messiahDaniel was petitioning God about the restoration of Jerusalem and its temple
Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake. O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies. O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name. Daniel 9:17-19God confirmed that Jerusalem would be rebuilt, and also revealed the timeline for the fulfillment of all promise and prophecy to Israel. Israel's transgressions were to be finished, the power of sin would be ended, reconciliation for iniquity would be accomplished, everlasting righteousness would be established, vision and prophecy would be sealed up (fulfilled), and the most holy, ie, Christ, the true temple of God, would be anointed, which all happened in the 70th week.
Jesus prophesied the end of the natural order, yet Christians infected with the dispensational mind-pathogen are compelled through weak faith to disbelieve that and make the 70th week about themselves (saying it pertains to their time) and physical things, rather than eternal and spiritual things, which were the whole point of the Gabriel's vision: the heavenly temple and Jerusalem that endure matter, whereas their temporary earthly shadows don't and would be destroyed to make way for the new.
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:21-24

Can you give me a quick run down on what the Scofield Bible is?
"which all happened in the 70th week."
False. And easily proven so mathematically.
173,880 days to 10th Nisan 33AD so-called (and wrongly!) triumphal entry.....exactly 69 weeks of years.
1. The start date
The prophecy begins:
“From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem…”
That decree is in Nehemiah 2, issued by
Artaxerxes I
The decree was given:
1 Nisan, 444 BC(March 5, 444 BC on the Julian calendar)
This is the only decree that:
- authorized rebuilding Jerusalem itself
- not just the Temple
2. The length of the prophecy
Daniel says:
7 weeks + 62 weeks = 69 weeks
Each “week” = 7 years
So:
69 × 7 = 483 years
Daniel uses 360-day prophetic years
So:
483 × 360 = 173,880 days
3. Count forward
Start date:
March 5, 444 BC
Add:
173,880 days
You arrive at:
March 30, AD 33
Which is:
10 Nisan, AD 33
4. The end date
10 Nisan, AD 33 is the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem as King —
the Triumphal Entry recorded in the
Gospel of Luke 19:28–44.
That is the exact day Messiah officially presented Himself to Israel.
Here's an example of Scofield's poisonous teachings. This is part of the footnote at the bottom of Acts 2 in which Peter said the Joel 2 prophecy about the last days was being fulfilled before their eyes. By that he meant the last days of natural Israel, whether he knew so or not. But Scofield has it exactly backwards by stating the last days of the church began with the Christ's 1st appearance (wut?) and the last days of Israel will be at his 2nd coming. It's just bizarre error that will really screw up a new believers' mind and subvert their faith, as it did to mine.

Why would anyone agree to a baseless, ignorant opinion bereft of the slightest Biblical support?
And why would anybody conjure up bogus doctrine so whimsically and contemptuously and then try and sell it?
