I essentially said, "You need to do some homework, if you want to understand Rom 5:12." And I specified for you an assignment.

God said if you eat from that tree you would surly die.
Now tell me Cameron if they had lusted in there hearts to eat from it would they have died.
It says if you eat from it, which means after you've ate from it, you will die.
Is that simple enough for you.
So what caused them to die.
he saw that everything was good that he created, and he created a tree full of his knowledge.
Disobedience. They were in covenant with God. There was one stipulation in the covenant...don't eat...or die. They transgressed the term of the covenant, so God executed the provision fordisobedience...He killed them.
Incidentally, this is what happened to Israel in 70AD on a larger scale. Israel had not met the stipulations in their covenant with God, and He executed judgment upon them.
so if they had desired to eat from it through lusting in the heart would they have died
According to the bible lust is a sin

Scriptures says the son does not bare the sin of the father.
If what your saying is true then your saying your responsible for the sin of disobedience.
So it couldn't be disobedience that killed you.
