I dunno... James, the brother of John got executed. Paul and Peter both saw their own deaths coming. Lazarus had to die a second time.
Did God let them down?
Both Paul and Peter seemed happy about it though. Maybe the secret lies in there somewhere. Hmm...
It is clear though that sometimes faith is not enough. Sometimes you need equanimity too.
Actually, I'm not so scared anymore... Spoiler Alert: God Wins!!! HIS Righteous Justice is coming for all those who have conspired and committed crimes against humanity and HIS children... It's time to choose the side of Good vs Evil and get right with God...

I just realized this: God is real and His Word stands firm always even when we fail. He is always there to rescue us and more importantly because we are His children and He is God.
