Anytime God is said to be seen in the OT...
it is always Jesus.
It's called a theophony.
A human manifestation of God.
Or, at least, in human FORM.

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
Any plant seed sown is a physical seed/body. And the plant that comes from the dead seed is... a physical plant/body. The difference between the glorified human body after resurrection and the unglorified human body that dies is not that one is physical and the other is not physical. Just as the physical plant has much more glory than the physical seed , so the physical body that has been glorified will have much more glory than the physical body that is the resurrected body.
If memory serves me right, the word used for unconditional agape compassion in KJV in 1 Cor. 13 is "charity". Not the modern kind of charity for virtue signaling, tax evasion or other ulterior motive, but real altruistic compassion for others.
Lord Jesus himself thought he was the light.
"I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." (Jn. 8:12)
If you have to be technical, "THEN" could be 12 hours. Each Jewish calendar day consists of 12 hour night time and 12 hour day time, 6 pm to 6 am to 6 pm. This is not speculation, Lord Jesus said there're twelve hours in a day, that's what he was referring to.
Yes, no one has ever seen the Father DIRECTLY, only his theophanies. Before Christ, God speaks through his agents and spokespersons to his people, that's the mechanism. Jesus's authority comes from this particular prophesy, He is the successor of Moses, whom all Israelites are commended to obey.
“And the Lord said to me: ‘What they have spoken is good. I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him. (Deut. 18:17-19)
You make a phone call or initiate a Zoom meeting, is the phone or the laptop a ventriloquist speaking in the first person as you? Is your avatar "Inquisitor" a ventriloquist speaking in the first person as you?
According to me, I'm trying to simply complicated and confounding matters, while a lot of you guys seem to have been doing the opposite, complicating otherwise simple matters.
Did they see God - an all consuming fire - or a man? Jacob not only saw "God", he even wrestle with "God" all night! What he experienced was a theophany, God appeared - but not incarnated - in human form.
Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day ... So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”
God's presence scared the Israelites to death, He was not relatable, He could not communicate with His people directly as an all consuming fire, therefore a medium between God and man is necessary. Before Christ, that medium was Moses, then the Levite priesthood.
Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off. Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.” (Ex. 18:18-19)
... according to all you desired of the Lord your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.’ (Deut. 18:16)
Jesus also said he comes to do the will of his father. And all that he does is by the will of the father. He was an example to us
of obeying the word of God. And it says the word was God. So, by him being Salvation; meaning we have a way to be saved. It doesn't mean we are saved. JESUS said I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father unless he comes by me. Therefore the way to know the word of God is by the name Jesus. And salvation is through Jesus, the annointed one. Christ. 1 Peter 1:2-4

You see. We have mercy to not be destroyed with the wicked in fire, by the grace given to us by Jesus shedding his blood, because of our ignorance of sin. Him conquering death and then promising to give us a way to salvation, having the foreknowledge of judgement on the earth.
Which is why the apostles tell us to move on to perfection. Not worry about doctrines, but doing as God said.
Isaiah 1:16-20
[16]Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
[17]Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
[18]Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
[19]If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
[20]But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
The Word of God, which is the testimony of Jesus. That is the bread. That is what Jesus told the disciples to eat. Just as he got power from doing the will of God. He told us to obey his commandments and drink from an everlasting spring and eat the bread of life. Which means get the understanding to live and the knowledge to be able to
It seems that the physical resurrection body does not need blood to keep it alive, as is characteristic of our present bodies. It is animated by spirit. Flesh and BLOOD cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.
But flesh and BONES obviously can.
Luk 24:39
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and BONES, as ye see ME have.
But that is Jesus before He has returned to heaven.

I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have
the keys of death and of Hades.
Have a crack at the following visions and tell me whether each one is a theophany or a Christophany.
Ezekiel 1:26-28
Now above the expanse that was over their heads there was something resembling a throne, like lapis lazuli in appearance; and on that which resembled a throne, high up, was a figure with the appearance of a man. Then I noticed from the appearance of His loins and upward something like glowing metal that looked like fire all around within it, and from the appearance of His loins and downward I saw something like fire; and there was a radiance around Him. As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.
Daniel 10:5-9
I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a certain man dressed in linen, whose waist was girded with a belt of pure gold of Uphaz. His body also was like beryl, his face had the appearance of lightning, his eyes were like flaming torches, his arms and feet like the gleam of polished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a tumult. But I heard the sound of his words; and as soon as I heard the sound of his words, I fell into a deep sleep on my face, with my face to the ground.

It doesn't matter as long as it's a VISION, not materialized flesh. His vision should not be mistaken for his presence, as much as your image on a screen should not be mistaken for your presence in person.
I thought you might say that so I underlined the response of each person who encountered, this so called
vision.

A strange response to an image on a screen don't you think?
It appears to be an encounter rather than a simple image.
Ezekiel, Daniel, and John, all collapse and then the image speaks to them.
A personal talking image?
Also note. that Daniel struggles with what he has seen and the image has to strengthen him.
The image even touched Daniel to strengthen him.
As you say just a simple image on a monitor.
Can I ask if you are Jewish?
Here is where the so called image is a real man with Daniel.
Daniel 10:10-17
Then behold, a hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees. He said to me, “O Daniel, man of high esteem, understand the words that I am about to tell you and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood up trembling. Then he said to me, “Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words.
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia. Now I have come to give you an understanding of what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision pertains to the days yet future.”
When he had spoken to me according to these words, I turned my face toward the ground and became speechless. And behold, one who resembled a human being was touching my lips; then I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who was standing before me, “O my lord, as a result of the vision anguish has come upon me, and I have retained no strength. For how can such a servant of my lord talk with such as my lord? As for me, there remains just now no strength in me, nor has any breath been left in me.
I reject your idea of an image and accept that the man in the image was standing in front of Daniel.
Definitely a Christophany.
