God is of spirit, Jesus is of both fresh and spirit, there's no direct comparison.
Jesus while incarnate was flesh, but now is spirit, as we will be when resurrected (1Cor. 15:35-50).
God is of spirit, Jesus is of both fresh and spirit, there's no direct comparison.
If I have the same will as my son, that doesn't mean that I am him. When Jesus said, "If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father," He wasn't saying, "Luke, I am your Father," exactly, as much as He was saying something similar to, "No one can come to Me unless My Father draws him." That is, that Jesus had come was solid proof of His Father's character to send us a savior as much as it is proof that Jesus is willing to die for His Father as much as for us, considering that He is our reconciliation to the Father. It is Father's will that we be reconciled to Him, and the only Way is through His Son, in Whom God's justice and mercy have kissed.
And, if any of the Three would not have peace with this plan, we'd all have been left for lost causes without hope. Jesus' peace was momentarily shaken, perhaps because He was in flesh, but then again, He was never a "natural man," not exactly. Scripture refers to Him as "the heavenly man." And we can't assume that neither the Father nor the Holy Spirit never experienced anything similar to that moment that Jesus came to within Himself, not just because they are 'only' spirit but that they are just as much 'the person' of God, of Whom All Loved the One as much as the Other. There is no revelation of God without that revelation of relationship. These are the Top Model of the utmost love in relationship. Indeed, of all relationships, there is nothing lasting that can hold it together if God is not in it.
With all that said, one of the Names in reference to Jesus is given as "Everlasting Father" so, in that sense He is our Father in the same sense as Adam is the father of all-natural man.
God is of spirit, Jesus is of both fresh and spirit, there's no direct comparison.
are we not to be resurrected now, in beleif to the done work of Son for us to be new in Father's Spirit and Truth, led new by God the Holy Spirit?Jesus while incarnate was flesh, but now is spirit, as we will be when resurrected (1Cor. 15:35-50).
Yet all three are OneJesus the Son is God the Father's incarnation on earth, His power comes from the Holy Spirit. He was like an embassador of a king or a subsidiary of a company in a foreign country. I don't see what's hard to understand.
I can tell you that what's a bit hard for me to understand is the "co-equal" part in the trinity doctrine, since He was sent by God the Father, He was always obedient to the Father, and He was seated at the right hand side of the Father, all these suggest that Jesus is below God the Father in terms of hierarchy.
are we not to be resurrected now, in beleif to the done work of Son for us to be new in Father's Spirit and Truth, led new by God the Holy Spirit?
I know by God I am born new by God in risen Son. As all his children I think know this and if not know this yet, will
Romans 8:15-16
I can't see any flesh pleasing God after Son did that once for all. Romans 8:1-3
Thanks just studying and learning in love and mercy given
Those who accept Jesus as Messiah/the Lord incarnate are reborn (John 3:3-8, Rom. 8:1-9)
but they will not be resurrected until Judgment day (John 3:16, Rom. 8:10-11&22-25).
Thanks, so Moses, Abraham, and many other Patriarchs are not risen yet? Alive with Father and Son presently now?
So when Christ gave up the ghost and yelled "It is Finished" John 19:30 the dead were not raised from the dead?
Per Matthew they were
Matthew 27:50-54
Authorized (King James) Version
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
God loves us all and will raise us even presently, spiritually not fleshly anymore. Believe God receive truth from God and be new daily with God Father and risen Son 1 John 2:27.
I personally hear I God love all. I made all, I love all, even whenever you fall. I do not want anyone to fall, yet all have. So, I sent Son to take the place of y'all for all in belief will be new in my risen Son's life for you all. Loving all in the same mercy and truth given first through Son. John 13:34
Jesus even forgave people here on earth, before the death, burial and resurrection of him by Father for us. Such perplexities that only Father can reveal in Father' Spirit and Truth
Even in the first Testament God forgave and moved forward for anyone to beleive God and then do as led by God willingly.
Thank you for the share GWH
You note a discrepancy between Matt. 27:50-54 and 1Thes. 4:13-17.
I find Paul's understanding to make more sense and Matthew's to be problematic (not mentioned by Mark and Luke).
I suppose we will find out how such "perplexities" fit/jibe when we get to heaven. HAND!
Thank you, I see that for us all, however Father chooses in belief to his love and mercy sincerely, given first by Son for us all to stand in belief to this amazing grace given us all to believe or not. Having no want for the self or other selves in the way as Paul talks about in Phil 3. I gave up being under Law to win Christ. I have no confidence in self anymore. I am seeing this truth as has happened in me to think I know and find out only Father knows. and when I read the Bible, I have thought I got it. Only to find me in arrogance again as if I am better than others, and I am not. not any better than anyone else ever. God chose to not be better and be equal to relate with us to love all as God loves all. That floors me
Thank you again for the share.
I visualize the situation as truthseekers traveling various paths in a maze, sometimes taking wrong turns,
but with perseverance moving closer to spiritual maturity as they learn GW, eventually arriving at the goal
of perfection in heaven (Phil. 3:12-16). The Gospel is simple enough for a child old enough to sin to understand
and be saved, but we may never understand the perplexities in this life, so humility is appropriate. However, let us
not disparage the trouble God went to in order to provide Scripture for the edification of all who are willing to learn.
Enjoy our fellowship.
willing is key
Father is there any other way, as Jesus asked in the Garden of Gethsemane. then said nevertheless not my will, your will Father
I hear go over there and wait. I say wait, you are saying go over there in that bar. Father I do not drink.
I go and am in the flesh worried over if anyone else sees me there, they will talk and ridicule me.
But I go in anyways.
Such as like Peter when he went into that Gentile house, who said to Cornelius, it is not legal under our Law to enter into any Gentile house. Yet God leads, and he enters. Then they all there get saved, and Peter perplexed and saw it happen, even the words that came out of his mouth, surprised (Luke 21:14-15)
Then the next chapter he goes to the others and tells them what happened and they do not believe it, yet in wonderment too.
Here I was years ago, told to go into a bar and wait. So I do it, and ask for a Pepsi and seven up on the rocks. I am sitting at the bar counter. Another person pulls up and sits next to me and orders a drink. This person then starts a conversation with me. I listen and hear his dad had just passed away. and he had been dry from alcohol before that.
I do not remember what God Father said to that person through me. I do know this as I left, he left right behind me without drinking that drink
never saw that person again
The next day was Church, Bible study. I hear the deacon say we are not to go into places like bars and such. I am thinking Really!!!!!!!
I do not say anything. Yet I know to listen God alone living in me, to know God's voice over evils' fake good voice, after that episode that happened, even as Peter went into a Gentile house he was not allowed under Jewish law to go into, yet did
Now I have joke, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John entered a bar
Sinners!
God as I think you know is good all the time and good is God all the time reaching out to everyone in love mercy and truth through risen Son
today is the day to decide to believe God and stand in that love and mercy given us all to respond to
Thank you for the conversation
Psa 85:10Although I can agree with most of your post, several things I question. Firstly. if it were possible that you and your son had the same will IN ALL THINGS, that would make you one WITH him, but not him. There was not a chance that any of the Three wouldn't have peace with the redemptive plan because these Three that agree are one. They have the exact same mindset, just differing roles. Of the Three, only Jesus, the Word, experienced being " born of woman ", although the Father, in the Person of the Holy Spirit, dwelt in Him. It was" Jesus who increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." Luke 2:52, this is why Jesus is our High Priest because, by experience, as stated before, He knows the feelings of our infirmities ( weaknesses ), the pull of the flesh. Of course Jesus was not a natural man, " But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Cor 2:24. Lastly, justice and mercy never kissed, it was mercy and grace, " For the wages of sin is death (justice), but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord ( mercy kissed grace ) Rom 6: 23.
Psm 85: 10 says " righteousness and peace " kiss, not justice and mercy.Psa 85:10
Hosea 2:19
ergo the link to Hosea's betrothal in justice and mercy. Take it or leave it.Psm 85: 10 says " righteousness and peace " kiss, not justice and mercy.
Jesus, right now, seated at the right hand of God the Father, is flesh. He went to heaven in flesh, the disciples SAW Him, Acts 1:11 " ... Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye here gazing up into heaven? THIS SAME JESUS, which is taken up from you INTO HEAVEN, shall so come IN LIKE MANNER AS YOU HAVE SEEN HIM GO INTO HEAVEN."Jesus while incarnate was flesh, but now is spirit, as we will be when resurrected (1Cor. 15:35-50).
No argument here brother.ergo the link to Hosea's betrothal in justice and mercy. Take it or leave it.
Just fell on this ....Jesus, right now, seated at the right hand of God the Father, is flesh. He went to heaven in flesh, the disciples SAW Him, Acts 1:11 " ... Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye here gazing up into heaven? THIS SAME JESUS, which is taken up from you INTO HEAVEN, shall so come IN LIKE MANNER AS YOU HAVE SEEN HIM GO INTO HEAVEN."
Yet all three are One
I see it like an egg, has a white, yoke and shell it takes all three to be an egg. separate any part and I tis not an egg
The same with Body, Spirit and Soul. Adam the first lost the Spirit of God leading him, when he ate from that tree
So man was still alive, but not whole
John 3:12 I give you physical analogies to bring home spiritual realities
John 3:12
Authorized (King James) Version
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you ofheavenly things?
Jesus while incarnate was flesh, but now is spirit, as we will be when resurrected (1Cor. 15:35-50).
