What does CCS stand for?
I looked up "2,000-year-old rice plantations" and an article came up titled, The Ifugao Rice Terraces are not 2,000 years old.

diamonds are made from coal
We threatened our kids one year that they would get coal for Christmas...
One shrugged his shoulders (he was 8 or 9 at the time), and said " So you're threatening me with diamonds? It'll be a good Christmas then".

I'm world famous.
And over 2,000 years old.
I might not be a household name in America.
But in the East I am.
I have impressive architecture;
To be feeding so many for so long.
I might also be the local pride,
Of many folks of CCS.

Gethsemane? It was a garden where olive oil was pressed and more notably where Jesus accepted The Father's will to redeem us, a decision that has spiritually fed millions over the last 2,000 years.

I don't recall it being associated with impressive architecture though, so probably not correct. 🤔

Good guess! But not Gethsemane.

I thought about it... and I'm gonna have to give it to you.

The answer is The Banaue Rice Terraces, which is part of the network of the generally termed Ifugao rice terraces. Banaue Rice Terraces were carved into the mountains of Banaue, Ifugao, in the Philippines, by the ancestors of the Igorot people over 2,000 yrs ago.

I was going to specify Banaue (which I learned of reading the wiki article that the search of the history of rice cultivation led to) so, I'd like to accept this award on behalf of all the stir-fried rice I've enjoyed throughout my lifetime. Thank you, very much.

a place she wished to wake up able

To fly as high as chickadees
and follow roads beset with poppies

Where am I?

The references to poppies and "flying high" made me think of the opium fields in Afghanistan, but I don't think that is it. 😂🤣

On an unrelated note, I love your new avatar! Did you paint it? 🎨

No, you're right, the password is not Afghanistan. :p

As to the new avatar, it was in a coloring page in an app with coloring 'books,' so I only colored (most of) it. I use the oil brush tool though and added the red rose in the vase to go with the two white lilies. I think this picture looks especially appealing within the circular frame and would pay for a set of dinner plates with that design!

I watched that movie because the creature's suit is basically a case study of certain costume-making techniques. Absolutely fantastic design and construction work went into it, imo.
