Yes, but my question to you is, "How can you be absolutely certain that what your interpretation of what the Bible is really saying, is indeed biblical truth?"
By everything you have posted. By the fact that I can only be saved because God first invited me, by how that I am saved I cannot lose my Salvation, by having a guarantee. That seems rather convincing to me that I was predestined.
I don't know many of his views. But I know there are records of those who were with him who made these claims. I have the Bible, why do i need what some man thinks years ago or even today?
My point is, what you hold as absolute truth, may only be truth from your point of view only.
Our individual lives are like movie screenings where we are the main protagonist, and the others who oppose us are automatically the antagonist
Others may disagree because they view the same issue differently.
And they could be correct. From their own movie screening, they are the main protagonist, and we happen to be the antagonist
I’m glad you posted what you did above because it demonstrates your inaccuracies regarding your discernment. I was not referring to you as the one wrongfully chastising others. I know this sounds harsh to you but I promise my tone is gentle in spirit. Please reassess your views.
There may be different traditions that Christians have because of National life, but the truth concerning the gospel is simple, and is the same for all.

Yeah, I see it different.....all is conclusive of all when applied to men....The bible is very precise and if a particular audience, race or creed (saved/lost) is implied it is made obvious by the text.
My view....EVERY man will bow before the Lord and confess to the glory of God and acknowledge Christ as Lord, Christ anf God....he draws ALL MEN before his throne. Obviously the saved are received and the lost will be cast AFTER THEY CONFESS.
All men = ALL MEN!

I have no dogma. I am not hung up on things that don't matter like some here are.
Interesting point you made there. I can imagine two types of Jews on the Passover night in Egypt.
Some put their trust in the lamb blood, and just relax and enjoy the night, confident that it is sufficient.
Other Jews are more paranoid and try to help the blood with their works, praying, fasting, singing non stop to God.
In the end both houses first born are still saved because, as the main dominant view of this particular thread goes, the blood at their doorpost was sufficient.
That is how I view this never ending argument about faith alone or faith and works for salvation.

I am not trying to be discerning. I was under the impression this was a Christian Forum. I gave everyone the benefit of the doubt until i saw you were getting nowhere with that poster.
I hold Jesus to be the absolute Truth. If you do not? You are an enemy of God. Is that my opinion? It is what the Bible explicitly states. I posted the verse and asked you about it, though you went off on a tangent about opinions. If you do not believe the Bible, and what Jesus says about Himself, why would you call yourself a Christian? "You" in the general sense...
