i don't know about that. Jesus said the one believing in Him, He gives eternal life, and that even if they die, they will live.

did you know 'everlasting gobstoppers' have expiration dates? tis true.
so they are not really 'everlasting' -- that's a lie. a marketing ploy. a deception.

now, if Christ says He gives me everlasting life, and that life isn't actually everlasting . . ?
then has He become a liar?

so i don't know how you define 'OSAS' but for me, i believe His gift of life to me is real life, eternal life, not deceptive & lying temporary life. not 'fake everlasting' like gobstoppers.

a mental and spiritual property, rather than a physical one.

Buy your own standards that you have set, God WILL punish you for exegesis fails (eternally), as your form soteriology demands sinless perfection post salvation, because as you say the propitiatory sacrafice of Jesus only forgives PAST sins, but nothing beyond that.

This is your position and you have stated many times in many ways. And yes malinterpretation of the Scripture is indeed a sin, as you have missed the mark, And by doing so you stumble others.

i think that the 'broad' path is one of a self-determined, self-willed righteousness of works.
this is what all religions teach, except for the Way we heard through the gospel -- and a salvation earned by the desire and effort of man by the merit of his outward behavior is diametrically opposed to the hope we have in the grace of God shown to us through His sacrifice on the cross and rising from the grave.

by far the majority of all beliefs among all peoples rests on man making his way to heaven via various strictures.
but only one, narrow, unbelievable word said, it is God reaching down to bring you up to Him; take the lowest seat, and believe.

Not as I say, but as the scripture says:

[We were] purged from [our] old sins (2 Peter 1:9).

Jesus was set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood...for the remission of sins that are past (Romans 3:25).

Salvation is a free gift, not of works.

What you do afterwards is what the discussion is about.

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you (Romans 6:17).

See, not my works based obedience-based salvation, but God's.

You should listen to God and not be like the scripture says here:

But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction (Jeremiah 17:23).

According to you, it's sinless perfection and unfailing obedience from that point onward, a one-time complete sanctification event, no continuous washing of the Word necessary, no confession of sins necessary, and no continuous intercession by Jesus on our behalf necessary.
